people are not required to sit until 11, they ask to do it and, in Falmouth, are elected to the post. What makes our local governments different from those in Ohio or Nevada are what makes them great - the connection to the average citizen has not been lost, and with that, there is still hope.

and can tell you that until the representatives who live near or represent urban areas get serious about the plight of Cape towns who have high property values but low median incomes, we will continue to struggle here while those fat cat pols decide how to spend the windfall in state aid. The GOP proposal is a much-needed zap of life support for the Cape. Tell your rep to support it!
