has cost us billions ,if not more, in money..
has cost us the sacrifice of thousands of young soldiers..
where is the damn oil that this war was supposedly fought and instigated for?
where is the payback for our losses and blood?
has 1 drop of oil been paid back to us for our sacrifices?..from Iraq?

Our economy is being crippled by the current gas/oil prices that all of us are affected by in every facet of our lives..

Town meetings are afforded to those few who don't work or ,can afford the time to go(work prevails).They pass all these initiatives for new temples of civil service,public land, at the cost of millions while schools overspend,then cry afoul and demand overides or cut necessary services,or charge for them,at our expense! My biggest concern is the current trend our govt is heading..dems are true socialists and the repubs have become 80's and 90's version of the former democrats..and the majorities from both parties bases have followed suit...
We are now facing a vast majority that wants govt to solve all their problems from birth to death..no personal accountability and too much intrusion on all levels of govt from local to federal...enough!!

despite big oil..the question is..will the proposed wind farm actually save the environment and help us be more energy efficient or is it another boondoggle perpetrated on us, the public, under the guise of saving the environment?..I doubt it..it will cost tons of fuel/energy to build,and it will put millions in the hands of another big corporation at our expense.once again..is it really a win for anyone except the developers?

Reminds me of when Mashpee had a fiscal crunch(no money)..I approached the Board of Selectmen and asked "does the board do financial planning?"..what an uproar!Squirming in the seats and how dare you glares..

Not that qualifies me in any way, but dimissing another point of view or, dare question the majority, is my perogative..
Science is, or once was, based 1st on theories then 100% absolute proof of the facts to prove such..at least it used to be that way..
Many scientists beleive,and argue, that solar flares and the resulting super heating of the sun in its present cycle are the only factors associated with a "slight' rise over the last 100 years of the earth's temperatures..
Just another point of view....
And just recently, some global scientists are saying we are facing global cooling ...my only point was..there is disparity amongst the scientific community..why not research all sides of the isuue?..only time will test whom was right...

seems to me that there are too many people with too much time on their hands investigating the plight of criminals..what about us who work and raise our kids and have been inundated with relentless taxes by the extended "winter hill gang" running this moronic commonwealth?

Continuing...speaking of gays.and I know many..they are killed daily overseas and any public display of sexuality(not permitted by the State religion) is punishable by stoning and/or death..Americans are so spoiled by the very freedoms they seem to hate..they lack the will to think for themselves,yet alone defend themselves,wish a total govt control of all their problems to be solved...how pitiful.Think outside the box and stop blaming your Nanny Govt for your perceived petty problems..I work with people from Jamaica/Brazil,Poland,Hungary,Belize, Russia who come here and are astounded at our freedoms and choices and long to become citizens here..We enjoy so much that we have No Clue as to the plight of the rest of the world...

It is quite interesting how so many in this country( who enjoy all the freedoms bestowed upon them )continuously slam the very foundations of this great country..perhaps these secularists should spend some time in any other democratic (or not)country and really experience persecution/racism/violence/oppression and lack of any freedoms whether economic or free speech...All they do is whine about everything here and the plight of criminals/illegal criminalians/ and our treatmentof those who would gladly kill us...send em all to the Middle East where women are tortured, prisoners/dissenters beheaded with no trial,those who speak out killed, no public discourse etc etc...by the way..State mandated religion is your only choice there as well..so what State religion is forced upon us?What freedoms of ours have been restricted?If you have no crimes to hide, then what has the Patriot act done to persecute you? Have state security forces entered your homes and killed you and your family?When you disagree with the principles/govt here, do they behead you?Do you need papers to travel?..wake up!

Falmouth tax payers beware! As a long time resident of Mashpee,one has seen the cost of business/home ownership swell in fees and bureaucratic red tape under the former rule of your new town administrator.All these increase are solely for fattening the pay raises/retirement/new jobs for those we elect (who know not of the private sectors cost of living ,yet alone fiscal responsibility)...

Bob Whritenour..hmm..the same slick willy that used to snowball Mashpee town meetings..Remember vividly his reasons for creating all the new Town positions and, when asked if these were permanent civil service that could be eliminated due to a financial crunch..he screamed"We need thse jobs!!...blah blah " and never answered the question with a simple yes or no..
