Good blog opi. I don't know why but it is a real staple in New England.I love the older women who work there that act irritated before you even order."I have been known to say "I'm sorry am I bothering you?"The dd in Sandwich at the Hess station is the best. Nice girls and fast service if you can get through the line for the gas. Its pretty cheap at Hess.(that is a whole other blog)

Yes I am the middle punching bag for both sides!I did Marry a middle kid.I must say I have three kids and I feel for my middle child. Maybe that is why I want one more.

In response to: Should Kids Be Invited to Weddings?
It depends. Uptight people can not handle kids running around at weddings. The parent really has to decide whether there kid can handle it or not. I think it is nice to invite them and give them the choice. I also know it is pleasant to go without the kids. I do think they can add to the reception. To many dud's do not make a good party at least the kids can always liven things up!

I have my kids reciting pharmaceutical commercial for depression. "Depression hurts....." I do think people watch and they do believe. I must say I was even strangely interesting in this supposed Dr. for lipitor. I guess I was not the only one!

I believe that it is a form of expressing yourself and who you are at that moment. Whether you are insecure or not. Whether you want it off later or not.I have seen cool tattoo's and really bad ones. I bet you love your daughter just the same. Even with the marking's and I feel that some people need to lighten up and learn a little sarcasm doesn't hurt. Thanks opi

In response to: An Outrageous Situation
I can not believe people are not more upset by this. What about equal education for every child. This makes me sick. To think my child may suffer because I can not afford full day.It seems to me this should not happen in a public school. I wish more people took this issue more seriously.

Its nice to hear all these opinions. As a young parent you do worry about your kids. You also know what you put your parents threw. That comes with an "oh no!" One key thing is Love. You need to let your child know that they are loved unconditionally. I always felt that no matter what my parents loved me. That lead me to... in the end of troubles always comeing back to them for advise and support. Nobody is perfect and its nice to know you have a constant in your life.

In response to: Christmas Clean-up
Yes, the tradition of christmas cleanup! I believe I have turned into my father and feel the need to cleanup as soon as possible the day after Christmas? What is that? Yeah! Merry Christmas now get it out of my site. Maybe it goes with the depression of Christmas over or a year ending? Maybe I am getting ready for a New Year with a clean start? Whatever the reason I pride myself with keeping the family tradtion. Even if it is cleaning up Christmas after the last present is open.

I will never forget the cheap champagne hangover.I am happy to say I will tivo the ball drop and go to sleep with the kids.Have a great 2007.

Free country isn't it? I think it is insane to put sanctions on what can and canot be taught.Where would we be now if we were not learning from history? I would hate to think that someone else gets to decide what my child can learn. Wouldn't that be there facts in there opinion? Not fair.

Yes I would let my daughter carry a Mary Magdalene lunch box. If she wanted to. She said to me the other day. "Mom do you know who I love the most in this world ?" I said "who?" She said "Jesus." Isn't that really what it is all about. I must have been doing something right. Believe it or not I was brought up with a catholic father and a baptist mother. Whats a movie?Who do you love?
