crusader -- you say you lived on the "island" are you talking about Martha's Vineyard? I don't know any Cape Codders who call the Cape the "island" You worked here, hated it and left? Now you spend endless hours going after a place you left and you spout off about things you know nothing about. You are either very, very stupid or just unhappy and envious. you stir the pot with gossip and heresay. you do not have the facts about any of the things you pop off about and it's all in the name of what? whatever happened to you on the Cape or maybe in your sad childhood has turned you into a vindictive and ill-informed person. have you thought about volunteering your time - you seem to have a lot of that.

getreal-- i totally agree with you..i was trying to be funny. i meant that the police were doing their job trying to protect this guy's house and then protect others by securing the guns.. i with you on this.

crusader - is PM your mentor? do you sit at his knee and take notes? you will learn well how to character assasinate. are you always so angry? perhaps you are a small man like your mentor....

Peter -- you have easily written the most thoughtful and reasonable blog on this subject. As Normail Mailer said about Manso, he is a "posion drip" He does think he is above the law and he does think that he can excoriate anyone in his path - especially law inforcement and the legal system -- but, he can break the law - knowing that he is breaking that law and he thinks he can get away with it. Let's hope that won't happen and he will be treated like anyone else who was found to have an unlicensed loaded assault weapon in his home.

getreal -- yeah! the police waste time going to some guy's house that is left unlocked with a non-working alarm and they find three unlocked and loaded gun... turns out the guy doesn't have a licencse -- he had one but it was taken any from him anyone know why? must have been those mean truro cops if have nothing better to do than lock this guys doors..yeah they must have know he'd be away...yeah yeah yeah
