In response to: Falmouth library improved building, now must work on staff...
Have you ever worked with the public? People suck! Maybe you were bugging the piss out of her or maybe she was having a bad day we all have them. If you weren't so irresponsible and didn't lose your card maybe she would of been nicer. My card is attached to my key chain so I won't lose it anymore. ( yes I've paid a $1 too). Just because you had a bad experience with one person doesn't mean that all the people that work at the library need training to be nice. Everyone I dealt with have been very helpful (especially the childrens room). Also the pay about a town employee sitting at a desk scanning books is just plain rude she could of been a volunteer. Blog all you want but thing before you type you have offended very nice librarians who work hard at their jobs. ;)

Isn't there a mandatory one year sentence for unlicesed firearms in Mass. Actually I think sawed off shotguns are totally illegal. But anyway watch the court reports they will properly walk. They both need to go to jail. Thank god someone called the police. I wonder what would of happened if they didn't. Thank you who ever did call.

In response to: Falmouth Election Day Predictions
I agree with everything you wrote Troy. There is more to Falmouth than Woods Hole and you can tell that about Bumpus. She has like 3 signs in east falmouth. I think Brent is going to do really well. He did really well campaining. He worked hard and I hope people realize that when they vote, and he makes good points. It's time for a fresh perspective and he's got it

In response to: Of Timing, Times and a Time to Ponder
I think the whole license plate thing is funny too! I always thought it was a guy thing, really a funeral director's thing I went to school with a funeral director and he had a list of who had the lowest hearse plate numbers. But if anyone wanted a low number or a vanity plate of some sort. Fred was the guy to go to, he had a friend that worked somewhere and would hook you up or get you in the lottery. Everyone has a hobby. :)

In response to: Making a Dent in the Drug Scourge
well another drug bust big deal nothing ever happens to the people arrested but fines thru the court. I know people that have been thru it. maybe the judge could assign them morque duty or sitting in the arrangement room as families plan funerals. Let give drug dealers and such a dose of reality not just a day a court with judge freedom and the people from the D.A.'s office making deals with their attorneys they probably don't even pay for.
