Delahunt voted in FAVOR of the Iraq war apprpriation this year, so he's got blood on his hands too. He refuses to support imepachment efforts, so he's helping Bush/Cheney continue their crimes. Iran is next, but the corrupt, cowardly Democrats in Congress won't stand up to the oil companies and military-industrial complex because they are bought off like political prostitutes!! A vote for Democrats or Republicans is a vote for corporate rule and endless war for OIL!

The Providence Journal?? They don't know what's going on in MA - they didn't even mention that there are THREE candidates for Congress, including Peter White, the Independent candidate!

I'm the only choice if the voters want someone who will uphold our laws and Constitution by impeaching Bush/Cheney and the other war for OIL criminals in that dangerous Administration. Iran is next, and then World War Three, if we don't remove those sickoes from power ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our troops are being sacrificed for oil company profits, which have risen 400% since the invasion of Iraq. Thousands of our troops, and over 600,000 people in Iraq, have died in Bush/Cheney's War for OIL!! We must impeach those war criminals before more people die for their lies and corruption!!

In response to: Why Kyoto is not enough
There are many actions that we can take to reduce greenhouse emissions and end our dependence on foreign oil, including developing wind farms and ocean energy, putting solar panels on all schools and public buildings, doubling mileage standards for vehicles, and providing 50% tax credits to homeowners and businesses who invest in renewable energy systems and conservation.

What we are missing is political leadership, because the oil companies and energy monopolies have corrupted both the Democratic and Republican Parties. Our only chance to change the course of history is a voter revolution!! Please vote for independents and third parties for a REAL change!!

The Wall Street/Cape Cod Times is a corporate rag that hides the truth from its readers. They endorsed Bush/Cheney in 2004 even after it became clear that they are liars and war criminals. Corporate America now controls the government and the media - can you say "FASCISM"??

In response to: Healey on wind power: Let's import it from Canada!
We have enough wind, solar, and ocean energy along the coasts of the United States to supply all the electricity needs of the United States, but it would be bad for the oil companies and energy monopolies to develop it too quickly. If elected to Congress, I will work to divert the $30 billion energy budget from oil company subsidies to renewable energy development. I will also propose the doubling of mileage standards for vehicles, as transportation is the biggest use of imported oil. We must cure our Nation of its addiction to foreign oil to help end the War for OIL in the Middle East.

In response to: Election 2006-Your Vote Counts
Every vote counts - in some states! Many states have experienced election fraud in the 2000 and 2004 elections, and Congress has done nothing to ensure honest elections. The main problem is that both the Democratic and Republican Parties are totally corrupted by rich special interests and corporate PACS, who spend $6 MILLION PER DAY to corrupt our Congress. The current situation favors incumbents who cater to big business, including Delahunt, who has recieved hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate PACs. We need to "flush this Congress" and vote out incumbents who accept legal bribery from PACs. As an Independent candidate for Congress, I will work for REAL change in the corrupt status quo!!

Speaking of corruption in politics, how many of those Democrats refuse to accept corporate PAC contributions as I do?? Who among them will admit the invasion of Iraq is a War for OIL, and Bush/Cheney should be impeached for starting it?? They are all status quo politicians who lack the courage and integrity to act in the interests of the people and our Nation!! If you want a REAL change, check out www.peterwhiteforcongress.com

In response to: Why is Congressman Delahunt Afraid to Debate?
Delahunt has been a "run and hide Democrat" in Congress for years, and that is his approach on debates as well. I have challenged him to debate about impeaching Bush/Cheney for thier lies and corruption that caused the illegal invasion of Iraq, but he refuses because he knows he is wrong to oppose impeaching those war criminals. Delahunt said in public last spring that Bush/Cheney have committed impeachable offenses, but trying to impeach them "would be bad for the Democratic Party". He doesn't deserve to be re-elected, that's for sure!! He won't even say "War for OIL" because he lacks the courage to do so. He has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate PACs, so he's just another corrupt status quo politician. The voters are ready to vote for REAL change!! How about judging candidates based on their stands on the issues?? My priorities:

1. Clean Elections - None of them have shown support for the Law passed by 2/3 of the voters.
2. End corporate tax loopholes for Raytheon and the banks - None of them will buck the corrupt Democratic leadership in the Legislature.
3. Sponsor an Impeachment Resolution to be sent to Congress - No leadership there by any Democrat in the State House, who prefer the "run and hide" approach demonstrated by Delahunt.

Sarah appears to be the most progressive of the bunch, and she's nice to me, so I'll root for her. As an Independent candidate for Congress, I can't vote in the primaries...

Does he support Raytheon's $100 million annual tax loophole like the Demcratic-controlled Legislature?? Does he oppose Clean Elections like the anti-democratic Legislature?? Will he fight the Wind Farm beside the millionaires and corrupt politicians?? Does he accept corporate PAC contributions like other status quo Democracts?? If you answered "YES" to all of these questions, then vote for someone else!!
09/07/06 @ 5:17 pm
NO, abortion is a family planning choice. I wish people who were so concerned about making other people's choices were more concerned about all the children living in poverty - 20% in the U.S. Many anti-freedom of choice people are pro-Bush/Cheney War for OIL, which includes a lot of killing!!

Freedom, democracy, and justice are the key values of our country, so every stand I take involves those values.
09/04/06 @ 5:27 pm
What ever happened to the goal of "Thou shalt not KILL??" First Bush/Cheney killed 200,000 innocent people in Iraq, and now you want them to do the same to Iran??? Anyone who advocates killing innocent people are as bad as the terrorists!!
09/02/06 @ 8:13 am
Well, maybe she's messing with me, but talking about killing hundreds of thousands of people like Bush/Cheney have done in Iraq is not a joke!! Iran is next, and Bush/Cheney are planning to invade next year, which will start World War Three and give our children endless war, pollution, and corruption. Go ahead and laugh instead of helping our Nation to change the course of history.
09/01/06 @ 6:19 pm
Your sound VERY evil!! You don't care that hundreds of thousands of innocent children, women, and men are killed as long as you have cheap gas?? First of all, the oil companies are going to keep raising the prices because they can, second of all Bush/Cheney are the worst terrorists in the world, third of all, you are just as sick as they are!!
09/01/06 @ 7:56 am
I believe in the God-given right to personal freedom for all, so I support the freedom of choice and freedom of marriage, decisions that each person can make for themselves in a FREE COUNTRY!!

Saddam and Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction, Woodsman, don't your read the papers?? He couldn't even attack southern Iraq as his long-range missiles had beed disarmed by the United Nations. Iraq did have all that oil, why else would Bush/Cheney invade?? There was no other reason!! Bush/Cheney are now planning to invade Iran to control their vast reserves of natural gas, which America is also addicted to. Bush/Cheney are the largest threats to world peace at this point in history!! We must impeach those corrupt, murderous liars before they start World War Three!!

We need a Renewable Energy Plan for Cape Cod and the Islands!! If elected, I will bring together all the renewable energy advocates and community representatives to devise one. We have a gold mine of wind, solar, and ocean energy that is wasted every day, while our troops die in the War for OIL in Iraq, our planet becomes more polluted, our health problems and costs double due to fossil fuels, and our energy bills go up and up!! We need elected officials who will LEAD!!!
08/31/06 @ 3:14 pm
By the way, you "thank God" that I may not be elected, do you think that God likes what Bush/Cheney have done, killing, lies, torture, corruption, destruction?? I think that God would disagree with you!! If there is a God, then he/she/they want us to love and help others, not kill them!!!
08/30/06 @ 9:38 pm
You are incorrect, as I have many issues that I will work on in Congress: universal health care, renewable energy development, doubling the mileage standards for vehicles, a national DARE program, election reforms including outlawing corporate PACs that bribe most members of Congress, support for the Kyoto Treaty, and maybe even a national holiday on election day to give everyone the incentive to vote!

Why do you support Bush/Cheney?? Don't you relaize that they lied to start the war in Iraq, their policies of torture and illegal detentions violate the Geneva Convention, ilegal wire tapping, no-bid contracts to Halliburton, etc. I would think that reasonable people would want the most corrupt Administration in U.S. history remvoed from office ASAP!!

In response to: Yarmouth?s Special Town Meeting
I strongly urge the voters of Yarmouth to support Article 14 to promote renewable energy development in our town. It is disgraceful that not one wind turbine has been erected in Yarmouth, although the entire town has winds exceeding 15 mph on average. Renewable energy development is crucial to our town and our Country!! We should also have solar panels on every town and school building - where is the leadership?? The Selectmen are sitting on their, uh, hands while our energy costs continue fo soar!!
08/30/06 @ 7:25 am
The Articles of Impeachment at www.impeachbush.org also include Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and Gonzales, who have all lied to Congress, supported policies of torture, illegal detentions, illegal wire tapping, and other violations of the laws and Constitution of the United States and the Geneva Convention. The majority of Americans support impeachment if it's proven that they lied to start the War for OIL in Iraq, which they obviously did. There are 37 Congressmen signed on to Rep. Conyers Impeachment Inquiry, but Delahunt is a "run and hide" Democrat, so he's done nothing to stand up to Bush/Cheney and the oil companies. Just call him "Delawon't"!
08/29/06 @ 6:46 pm
NO, because Bush/Cheney will have 2 1/2 more years to expand the War for OIL into Iran and start World War Three!! Too many people have been killed already, and we must withdraw oure troops and work to stop the killing!! Bush/Cheney, as Commanders-In-Chief (actually Cheney is the "decider"), will keep sacrificing our troops for the oil companies if we don't stop them ASAP!!

The Democrats will win after they come up with some positions and proposals!! I mean, what DO the Democrats stand for?? Most of them are "run and hide" politicians, as Sen Russ Feingold says (I'd vote for him!!).
08/29/06 @ 1:07 pm
Hey Jack, I hope that you and family are well!! I'm sure that we agree on a lot of issues, but we probably disagree on some of the solutions. As a Representative, my job is to work for what the majority of voters want: impeach Bush/Cheney, end the War for OIL and bring our troops home, community-based renewable energy development, and universal health care are supported by most people in the MA 10th District!!
08/29/06 @ 10:31 am
Delahunt is a corrupt status quo politician whose campaign is funded by corporate PACs and wealthy special interests. Congress is a corrupt mess, and we need more independents to overthrow the corporate domination of our government!
08/29/06 @ 10:29 am
I work on many issues: community-based renewable energy development (or a regional cooperative effort by the Cape Light Compact), affordable housing, wastewater management, universal health care (and the country-basec Cape Care proposal), abolishing corporate PACs and other forms of legal bribery, a Voters Bill of Rights with paper trails, and an end to the War for OIL in the Middle East, among other issues.

In response to: Texans love their turbines
Now, why aren't we doing this all over Cape Cod and the South Shore, and all over the Country?? We need a regional cooperative developing wind energy, something the Cape Light Compact should be doing!! We also should use the $30 billion energy budget for subsidizing renewable energy development instead of oil companies!

In response to: Got Democracy?
Democracy?? I thought that this is a republic controlled by the rich ruling elite, like the oil companies, the military-industrial complex, the financial institutions, etc. Don't they control Congress and the White House, and don't they use the corporate mass media, PAC contributions and election fraud to maintain their control??
08/16/06 @ 7:53 am

In response to: On War
There is no doubt that the military-industrial complex, oil companies, and muti-national corporations now control Congress and the Bush/Cheney Administration, and that is why they invaded Iraq in an illegal War for OIL and Empire Budiling. Thousands of our troops, and hundreds of thousands of innocent people, have been killed for corporate profits and power.

We must impeach Bush/Cheney ASAP and flush this Congress in November in order to change the corporate status quo which is destroying our democracy and planet!! Delahunt and the Democratic Party are part of the problem of widespread corruption, not the solution.

In response to: Why did Gabrieli wait months to make that announcement
ALL the Democratic candidates for Governor endorsed Israel's bombing of cities and towns in Lebanon, which was mass murder of hundreds of innocent people, so I don't support any of them. Deval Patrick talks well, but his corporate ties and support for Israel's invasion of Lebanon shows that he's just another rich status quo politician. I'm supporting Grace Ross of the Green-Rainbow Party for a REAL change!

YES, I talked with Doug last week-end, and he is honest and idealistic, which is a great place to start!! He is open to discussing all of his positions, and wants to represent the people instead of corporate interests!! O'Leary and most of the Democrats and Republicans in the Legislature (and Congress) have sold out!!
08/14/06 @ 9:22 am

In response to: Odd Man Out
O'Leary is just another corrupt politician, who has supported Raytheon's tax break of $100 million/year, opposed the Clean Elections Law after promising to support it, and he even voted to end the rabies protection plan several years ago, when the budget was tight. Support Bennett for Senate if you want someone honest to serve the people of CC & I.

In response to: Gasoline Companies-Blame the Oil Companies?
YES, the oil companies have corrupted our federal government, and the invasion of Iraq is a War for OIL and Empire Building. Even the troops in Iraq know that was their mission, and the weapons of mass destruction and war on terrorism stuff was all propaganda and lies!

Oil company profits are up 400% since the invasion of Iraq, and they are the real winners, together with the military-industrial complex and Halliburton and other corporate friends of Bush/Cheney.

Most of the $30 billion annual Energy budget goes to oil companies and nuke corporations, very little goes to renewable energy development. The corrupt Congress has refused to raise mileage standards for vehicles, which use over 60% of imported oil. The voters need to flush Congress in 2006, and vote in some independents like me!!
08/13/06 @ 9:50 am
PeterWhite [Member]
In response to: Odd Man Out
What we really need is a community-controlled renewable energy plan for Cape Cod and the entire region!! There are hundreds of good on-land locations for 1-20 wind turbines on the Cape and Islands, and this region has a gold mine of wind, solar, and ocean energy to tap into!! There should be solar panels on every town and school building by now, but inertia among elected officials prevents us from moving forward.

The problem is the lack of leadership; Delahunt and most politicians are anti-wind farm and pro-do nothing to upset the energy monoplies or add to their work load. We need resources and technical assistance for the Cape Light Compact and the towns to help them to develop renewable energy that is of, by, for, and where the people decide. There should be a referendum to let the voters affected decide on any major energy proposals.

In response to: Lebanon-Time to Stand Up
The rest of the story: the military-industrial complex and the oil companies are the big winners in the growing War for OIL and Empire Building in the Middle East!! We should halt all military aid (weapons) to all countries in the Middle East, and withdraw all occupation forces - but that would be bad for business as usual...

In response to: Lebanon-Time to Stand Up
We have come close to peace in that region twice in the last ten years, only to be disrupted by more killing from both sides!! The US and UN should demand an immediate cease-fire and a halt to bombing cities full of innocent people, and then send in peace-keeping troops. Killing innocent people is NEVER the correct answer!!!!!!
08/02/06 @ 7:22 am
PeterWhite [Member]
In response to: Lebanon-Time to Stand Up
So you're saying that it's OK for Israel to bomb cities and towns in Lebanon, and kill hundreds of innocent children, women and men, unarmed people that have nothing to do with Hezbollah. That's pretty sick, as well as an illegal invasion and counter-productive!!

War is the opposite of civilization, and most casulaties of modern wars are innocent people. Israel and Hezbollah are both guilty of war crimes and mass murder!! The only long-term solution will come through cease-fires and negotiations. You can never stop the killing by killing, that generates more killing!!!

The Bush/Cheney Administration, the oil companies, and the military-industrial complex are the big winners, as the instability helps them in the War for OIL and Empire Building in the Middle East. IMPEACH BUSH/CHENEY as the first step towards peace through justice!!
