proudtobewamp23: Giving away the rights that the tribe was afforded via federal recognition is just insane and not in the best interest of the entire tribe. Disrespecting the chief and following every command that the investors (outsiders) are giving is not in the best interest of the entire tribe. Wake up!!! In years to come the investors will be gone and will be sitting on a nest egg that was given to them by corrupt tribal officers, damage that is irreversible. Read about all the facts that have shown how much the investors have already taken from the Mohegans, have gone against the Narragansetts and eventually have raped from the Wampanoags just like Glenn and gang.

proudtobewamp23: You really need to take off those blinders. How much proof does one need to not see the damage that someone like Gayle, in such a short time, has done to this wonderful tribe. This article is not about the Bingham’s plight or their rightful opinion towards the “land suit”. I may not agree with their pursuit of the land claim, but they have every right and justification to do what they believe is in the best interest of the entire tribe.
Yes, yes, I know, if your in support of Glenn, Shawn, David, Desiree and others then every comment / article about anyone associated with them is just hearse, is because of the Bingham’s plight, or just doesn’t matter because its from an outsider. When will you and others realize that the damage that Glenn, Shawn, David, Desiree and others have and continue to do to the tribe has irreversible consequences?

arms_akimbo: I’m happy that you have had nothing but positive experiences with Shawn as a great parent. That’s an important attribute that all should seek to obtain. Another true measure of a man is someone who holds himself to the high ethical and moral standards. In my humble opinion, Shawn does not unfortunately conduct himself with much ethics or morals.

I respectfully disagree with your statement that this blog is a character assassination but more of a testament of what others have witness in his conduct and character. Greed and money can corrupt the best of people. Of course even if certain people are eventually removed they are all set (the investors have ensured that). It is very important for investors to control the Marshall gang’s actions to ensure that blind-folds are kept on all tribal members.

I am just hoping that in the end, the tribe will be able to reverse some of the damage.

proudtobewamp23: My viewpoint. I do think that it is ironic that Gayle and others who complain about badmouthing the tribe on public forums are the same group of people who have been maliciously badmouthing tribal members on public forums (ie wampfacts). I don’t believe the entire council is corrupt, but do believe that the officers of the council are. Look at the clear evidence. Look at all of the unauthorized positions like Gayle’s pr position or the security team which have never been approved by the tribe’s governing body (tribal council).

Look at all of the real estate, political contributions, cars, boats, toys and personal companies that former chair, current chair, vice chair, secretary and others possess. There will not be any review of any finance documents by anyone inside the tribe. That would be self incrimination. Even the dumbest of the officers have been advised by their lawyers of that action.

Peter, let me take a crack at answering the first four questions. Q1:Let me get back to you after I talk to GM,the lobbyists, their lawyers and the investors to determine how to respond. Q2: Let me get back to you on that, I need to check if GM, SG, WM and the investors were able to get patty cakes to add us to enrollment. Q3: Well, we all are paid by the investors so their is no conflict of interest as to who is influencing who. Q4: Let me get back to you in a couple of years after conferring with the investors to estimate the economic benefits of our contract to them (the tribe).
