In response to: Barack Obama win 2009 Nobel Peace Prize
sacrebleu I don't give a damn what color Obama is. He is just another smooth talking politician. If you can show me any tangible evidence, not rhetoric, for him deserving this award I will delete my previous post and toast him, with Kool-aid, as the save all be all Messiah that you and the rest of his followers worship. You obviously have not seen the quotes this morning from Obama's brother Muslims who also disagree with him being awarded a Nobel Prize.

In response to: Barack Obama win 2009 Nobel Peace Prize
This is unbelievable. If Obama was award the Nobel prize for narcissism or arrogance I could understand it. Awarding HIM the Nobel Prize has elevated the stature of MacDonald's Empoyee of the Month Award. Why not just make him emperor of the universe. I need a drink!!!

In response to: Is this governor completely tone deaf?
Christy not only is the governor deaf so is the majority of the legislature. They claim we need 2 senators. We have had 1,in name only, as Ted missed 97% of the votes in his last 12 months. Kerry was gone 14 months while running for President. Unless and until the voters in this state wake up nothing will change. You have my vote I only wish I could vote more than once.

In response to: What Global Warming looks like in Chatham today
It is unfortunate that these so called concerned people have absolutely no idea what is going on behind them in the picture. The analogy of dancing on a grave is spot on. As an Island dweller I too will face the same demise as the folks whose beloved camps are being dimsantled while the so called concerned environmentalists smile for the camera. Perhaps theses concerned citizens should have spoken to an owner who has 1st hand knowledge of what goes on at North Beach and offered to help or atleast get an understanding of the beach rather than going for a boat ride and the ever present photo op. While I disagree with their stand on global warming they do have Aa right to their opinions. I do find it very troubling that they "dance on the grave" of 5 families beach camps.

Someone please tell those so called evviromental nitwits that walking thru and standing on the grass will not only kill the grass but will also harm the habitat for the critters that live there. Also the erosion on the beach is a cyclical event happeningapproximately in 100 year cycles. I hope the morons enjoy their field trip.

Once again that sorry excuse for a "Representative" Atsalis has marched in lockstep and done as he was told by the Democratic leadership. Good job for your constituents.Don't ever cut anything just keep taxing us,you puppet!!

In response to: Pols raise Sales Tax 25%
Atsalis is an empty suit who does whatever the Democratic leadership tells him to do. The only reason his is reelected is because the voters are too stupid to do a little home work BEFORE entering the voting booth. He is just another Democratic toadie hanging on until his pension is big enough for him to bail. I live in his district and have never nor will I vote for him.

Truly a gentle man...one thing I'm sure of is when Mike McCaffery said "its for the children" it WAS for the children. All superintendants could learn from Mike.
