Hello Maverick: I haven't assumed anything, I have many other important things to "research" right now, and don't care if these things are built or not, to tell you the truth. Besides, I'm in the business of fossil fuels, so I guess I'm on your side. The only reason I view Peter's fine work is for casino news (I oppose the casino). I re-read my post and I didn't mention global warming or Cape Cod air quality. Maybe someone else did. I simply noticed an inaccuracy and wrote that assuming there are 5.3 million households in New England,(25/5.3)/12=0.39, not 0.12.
So, if you feel better making your point by being oversensitive with me, well, good luck with that!

"His [Gordon's] original claim was that Cape Wind would save $25 million across New England, or twelve cents per month per household."

The sentence is ambiguous, so, I'm not clear who did the math, Jim or Peter, but . . .

Assuming $25 million and 5.3 million New England households, the result would be $4.72 /year or a little over 39 cents per month per household - not 12 cents. It doesn't seem like much to me, but it is over 300% more than just twelve cents.
