You're too honest a businessman to pretend you don't know why trophy home owners are spending $18 or 20 million t0 stop a renewable energy project.
Stop literally fouling your own nest and unload you crap on shore regardless of the fact that a generation-old law allows you to dump it a couple miles off our beaches.
Don't you give a damn about the next generations who inherit this planet from you?
This is a matter of our life or death, and the live or death of the fishing you make your living by.

So these poor, deceased saps have been paying $300 a year for the newspaper for fifty years and when they die, they don't even get an obit.
How chintzy can you get?!?
In today's dollars that's about $15,000 over fifty years and they can't asfford to give you a free obit.

and... I am encouraging all of our kids to educate their peers, just as I do with mine. Kids often have better judgement than adults...

Now that DOES explain the wisdom of the Oil Moguls funding the efforts to stop America's first offshore wind farm to use straws like these.

During the run-up to the primary they ran 3 or 4 gratuitous plugs for Reilly to give themselves the courage to endorse a jerk.

"back door line" - are you referring to the stelth admendments by Rep. Young, Sen. Stevens & Kennedy?
"raking in state and federal tax credits" - you must be referring to the credits the Oil companies get for drilling, etc.
And unlike the Alliance and your corrupt political freinds, dear Cliffie, Cape Wind has played by the rules as legislated for five years spending private money (not taxpayer's) to develope new energy resourses.
Now go take your meds.

The water depth shown on their own map (click image for larger version) is 107 fathoms, and a fathom is 6 feet, ergo the technology is twenty years away from building turbines in over 600 feet of ocean.
The Monomoy Shoal are smack dab in the middle of the US Dept. of Interior (that's the MMS' own boss)designated flyway between that island and Nantucket as well as a major shipping lane to enter the sound, ergo forgetabout it.
The Tuckernuck and Nantucket Shoal sites are in the direct path of shipping entering and leaving New York, remember the Andrea Doria.
These new suggested sites only make Horseshoe Shoal more logical than ever.

It's not open until March but my favorite Asian eatery is Than Loi on Rt. 28 in South Yarmouth next to Riverway Lobster House. It's our only Vietnamese restaurant.

What a grand idea.
Too bad these "flying rats" don't go near wind turbines. It would have been the best reason of all for installing ten thousand more on Nantucket Sound.

If Andrea Silbert decides to display the kind of courage Deval Patrick showed last week in becoming the first state-wide candidate to endorse the wind farm, she could cut O'Leary off before he changes his mind.
He not only are his students at Mass Maritimes wondering about his ethics in this matter, but even he has probably figured out that the Allinace is a very smelly group and not helpful at all for his future.
