Don't these hateful, anti-Obama commenters realize they are revealing their bigotry.
I can never recall a time in our history when Americans didn't take pride in any citizen's accomplishments.
This is raw racial hatred and nothing less.
If our President was white these bigots would be dancing in the street.

It is always best to wait at least two years after such a bereavement to rename anything. To do otherwise is ALWAYS a mistake.
We all loved Ted, but it took a couple decades in the senate before he deserved our respect, so waiting two years to decide on his monument is more than simply wise.

Maverick has written some asinine, inaccurate and nasty comments in the past, but never anything like his hateful and bigoted one above criticizing the president's "lack of action".
In a space of 4 days the president carefully chose the time when the navy was fully prepared and sharpshooters had been brought to the scene, to save Capt. Phillips life rather than attempt the kind of cowboy actions which have brought America to its present reputation in the world.

Read the details above of the rescue and decide for yourself.

Maverick, YOU are the problem. To quote from the current Nat'l. Geographic on the front page, " The second biggest factor ocean-killing factor is FISHING!
"{The second biggest factor affecting marine life is fishing, they add. Trawl-fishing for animals on the ocean floor, such as groundfish and shrimp, is especially damaging because the rest of the seafloor habitat is destroyed in the process, Halpern says.

The habitats that are suffering the worst impacts, rated "very high" in the study, are continental shelves, the shallow areas off the coasts of continents that are 200 to 750 feet (60 to 200 meters) deep.

Other areas with very high impacts include the northeastern U.S., where pollution, commercial shipping, and fishing are the major causes of harm... National Geographic..." see here.

But on Cape Cod, President Chavez continues to enjoy strong support from two pairs of lips politically attached to an inflatable drunk named SpongeTed, Squarepants and "Oh Mr. Bill" Dullahunt abetted by "Joe-4-Profit" Kennedy...

This isn't Illinois, Neil.
As the Anti-Wind Farm Vigilantes know, this online newspaper is where we find stories the local media misses, and coal stories about a Cambridge start-up's hope to covert coal to NG is not a cape story by any stretch.
The company according to The Globe "...has run trials converting up to 2,000 pounds a day of coal into gas at its test plant in Des Plaines, Ill."
The fact that Neil Good isn't concerned about why our so-called "newspaper of record" doesn't cover the MMS report Cape Cod has been waiting for years to see, speaks volumes about their agenda.

It is ONLY with young, dissident new blood like Maloy, Buckley, Howell and Bennett that the "Grand Old Party" will reclaim its stature the Bay State.

One should remember who the original Peter Porcupine was - a Tory who fought against the American Revolution. His real name was William Cobbett and he became a controversial political writer and pamphleteer writing with a pro-British stance under the pseudonym Peter Porcupine.
A disastrous lawsuit led to his financial ruin in 1799 and he returned to England in 1800. Cobbett was found guilty of treasonous libel on June 15, 1810 and he was sentenced to two years in Newgate Prison.
So calling MS Stead a Tory is nothing more than how she describes herself.

His material grandmother "Mourning Dove" Salish told him, "everything on the earth has a purpose, every disease an herb to cure it, and every person a mission. This is the Indian theory of existence."

In response to: Environmental Group spurns Alliance
Durkin and Capri won't answer our three questions - at least not with facts which stand up to scrutiny. They only make the same tiresome and deliberately misleading statements over and over again much like the notorius "BIG LIES" of the 1930's in Germany.
Capri is just an RFK Jr. apologist and Durkin has some connection with the anti-windfarm Osterville oligarchy.

How do these horrible harridans look their children in the face?

Let's see: the GOP made you it's candidate, but you lost what had been a GOP seat for a hundred years, and it's the GOP's fault?

I favor legal same sex unions because I see no reason why my gay and lesbian friends should be spared the anguish, heartaches and pain of marriage which I and my hetero friends suffer through.

What a wimp-out endorsement of the pestilential and poisonous Peake.
This weakly rag has no guts or wisdom any longer. Sarah Peake is a dangerous character to foist on the enlightened Lower Cape. Aaron Maloy may be young and inexperienced (thank GOD!), but MS Peake has shown her arrogance and all-knowing hauteur often enough to alert even the bush-league scribblers at The Cape Codder.

In response to: Delahunt's status as veteran on ballot is questioned
It is difficult to imagine a less distinguished congressional record than that compiled by "Weak Willy" Delahunt. His only elective function appears to be carrying the twop stools for our ancient US Senator so Fat Ted won't be the only cripple who has to sit down at rallies.
The fact that he's lying about his veteran status is consistent with the rest of this empty suit.

Anyone remember Bill Breisky, the Times' editor for 17 years before Schechtman?

When he was squeezed out by the new conservative breed there, the newspaper's fifty years of Liberalism (or at least Progressive Republicanism) left with many readers and the newspaper started a wild swing to the ring.

The new publisher John Wilcox who replaced Breisky's old boss Scott Himstead came from Joplin MO and brought the Dow-Jones/WSJ bias with him. He got rewarded by being named President of Ottaway Newspapers.

Peter Meyer hopes to follow suit.

The difference is that the Wall Street Journal is well written.

My sister-in-law goes to to same posh Spa as MS Healey and claims the Lt. Governor gets a Brazilian wax even above her bikini line which removes every hair in your nether regions.

That might appeal to the randy Democrats, but it will appall the stodgy GOP.

Yes girls, as the items sez;
It is extremely unusual for a major, metro daily newspaper like the Herald to focus on a little-know PR Flack when he gets busted for boozing.
This indicates to me that old Ernie has made some serious enemies in that newsroom and others. We has promoted lies and deceits about Cape Wind, and that probably means he's done at least that bad or worse to some big players in Bean Town.

Where are you getting your weather quackery? Where did you ever get the information that the temperature today "may surpass 90 degrees especially in the urban areas of the mid and upper Cape with heat indices in those areas nearing the century mark."

NOAA, the Weather Channel and all the other TV networks are reporting that Cape Cod and the Islands are the coolest places in all New England with temperature possibly getting to 85 on the cape, which is the temperature in Hyannis at noon today.

Crying "wolf" like this is dangerous and irresponsible. When the real heat wave comes your readers will ignore you.

O'Brien, you must still be on the take. O'Neil is probably the biggest windbag, and most slimy lobbyist in Beacon Hill, and that takes a lot of slime to achieve.

How much were you paid to write this puff piece? Didn't you learn from Hobbs or Ullman how to spot a phony?
