usps... Ladder 307 is from the COMM fire department which is a water district, so their funds come from water bills, therefore the people of Centerville, Osterville, and Marstons Mills are able to reap the benefits of nice equipment to keep them safe and protect their life, liberty, and property with the funds not coming from the tax base. You should try and make informed comments on public sites like this...

Snuffy: Cape Cod Today is way better than any of the crap the Times puts out. There is tons of high quality content all over this site. I feel that Walter and Julie both do an excellent job in everything they do (you heard her, 7 employees, that’s one hand, plus 2 fingers). Change is inevitable, especially in todays fast pace society with this state of the art news media. So, why don’t you stop your complaining about Cape Wide News, get a scanner, a digital camera, I’m sure Walter would be happy to make you a press pass and get out there taking pictures and covering the stories for free, to me that seems like the easiest solution to this problem for both sides.

cw rice,
I say good for Sam. Clearly, you have an educated background and you are informed with types of writing. It also seems that maybe you were once in a similar situation that Sam is now in. Is it that you have missed out on this relatively new type of journalism in your day? Are you a player for Mashpee? A parent? Do you work for the Times? Are you threatened by her? Who is "cw rice"? Just like myself, we are hiding behind a username. Would you, as a young woman in her 20s hoping to start a career in this modern type media, put your name out on the web and voice your opinion about such a post as she has? Good job Sam, and don't let people discourage you from your writing. We certainly don't see many young woman nowadays willing to express opinion as openly as you do.
