Because rappers are only Black?! Now who's being prejudice and racist?

Hi, Sticky.
I think you're splitting hairs here. The discrepency comes where the female driver, the one who shut her lights off and jumped out of the car, says she was coerced into taking field sobriety tests and a breathalyzer because she had a gun in her face (the breathalyzer happens at least a half hour after the stop, was the gun still in her face?). He's not denying that his gun was out and that he ordered her to see her hands, but he put it in his holster when he spoke with her. Splitting hairs, and, putting to much weight in CC Times reporters.

"To date cc2day has received several emails and phone calls from local Police Departments demanding we remove their department's name from our copy.
We have received no emails or phones calls from local Police Departments thanking us for reporting this violation and promising to seek the culprit. - The Editors"

Did the Dennis Police Dept and others maligned in this story receive emails and phone calls from the staff at CCToday apoligizing for the innacuracies?

"...although that department's cruisers are no longer black..."

When were Dennis' cruisers black?! They've been all white for many years.

And, if your three eyewitnesses were wrong about the cruisers saying "DENNIS" on the side, how accurate can they be about the speed?

I'd like to make a prediction: this "news story" won't appear on these pages much longer, "so as not to embarrass a specific" blog and it's staff.

capecodjon,
what i was really pointing out is that you don't know what you're talking about, despite your "legal education."
07/27/08 @ 9:49 am
the "fleeing felon doctrine" said that police could shoot someone who was suspected of comitting a felony and was simply on the run. it was struck down as violating the 4th amendment (tennessee v. garner). police may now use deadly force if it is believed that the fleeing suspect poses a threat of serious bodily injury or death to police or others (the public).doesn't need to be "immediate or imminent." how old is that legal education of yours?

who said they were "rocking gear?" the story says the only thing that identified them as new yorkers was their plates and the youths "accused" them of being yankee fans.
i take it you don't plan one heading down to broadway to take in a show anytime soon for fear of being assaulted in front of your family.
07/05/08 @ 7:25 pm
yes, let's make light of the man who got beaten up in front of his family. kudoos, young hoodlums.

right, no need to take calls involving guns seriously. and, who cares how many cops are on the arrest report? i don't get your point there.
