I can tell you how the family feels being I am his father. We are very grateful for all the help from all the people, civilians, fire & rescue, police, coast guard, and the enviromental officers especially the one how found him. The trip from Ct to the Cape was hell for me until I recieved the call that he was found. The true story is my son is near sigted and wasn't wearing his glasses. Jack was unaware of the angle at which he had walked out onto the flats so when he turn to come back to the beach he was already down the beach from the cottage. Being 11 and not familiar with the beach he missed judged his location. I hugged my kids and had dinner with all of them last night. I told my son I was going to take him to the vet and get him one of those implanted tracking devices that they put it dogs or a lo-jack. There were tears of joy and some joking after it was all over. I personally went to the Brewster police station last night on my way back to Ct to thank the police for finding my son. Once again my family is very greatful to all who helped.
