I can't wait to give you my vote Christy!

I thought it was a great location. Close to the airport, walking distance to Main St and the Harbor. This is such a shame. Time for a change with this Town Council.

I was hoping Christy would stay in the Governor's race! YAHOO!

I was on 93N in Boston, with my Mom who had just been discharged from the hospital, and a full sheet of plywood came flying at my car. It hit the pavement just in time to run over it with my tires. I was very far back, but it sure looked like it was going to go smack thru my windshield. Very Scary.

If they do handpick a successor, from the above named list, I would prefer Robert Reich.

When was the last time Ted Kennedy voted in the Senate? I remember he made a special trip there last year but other than that? But he is so worried about who will be there to vote for the people of Massachusetts? Should of thought about that a long time ago.

I think he should announce his retirement now and give people a chance to run for the office and let us vote. NO APPOINTMENTS!

I think a fairer thing to do would be for him to announce he is retiring in 5 months to give people time to campaign for a special election. No appointments. Let the people VOTE!

I think it is wrong to keep changing the sucession laws to suit your party.

Who doesn't come from a dysfunctional family these days. He knew right from wrong. He deserves at least what he is getting.

I think these guys should put up the rescue money up front before they get in the water.

I hope they throw the book at Eric Patten. A group of punks like him went after my husband in Key West this year. Drunk, 20ish, looking for trouble. I was walking about 15 ft. behind him when it happened. We are a straight couple and these punks were looking for trouble, specifically with people from the gay community. He was smart enough to keep walking and get away from them. I wish we could of found a police officer at the time.

I was looking at jobs in Florida and came across some Toll Collector positions. It said the average $20000. per year. I wonder what they make in other states?

This would never happen to someone retired from the private sector.

Let's see now. Off Cape people don't want to pay for the Canal Plant, but they want us to pay for the Big Dig, Mass Pike, MBTA etc., which very few people from the Cape use. We have very basic public transportation here, so you will get socked with the gas tax. Meanwhile, the federal stimulus sounds like it will do crap to help the Cape. Then we can all pay for the Canal Plant, while the people from Boston get a nice reduction in their electric rates. Sounds like a good deal to me, NOT!

Christy, I hope you enjoy smelling those roses! If you ever decide to run for Governor, you have my vote. I'd love to see you write a blog. Just a thought, something to do with a little bit of that free time!

I cringed when I saw the ATV on Lake Wequaquet on Sunday. There were ice fishermen out on the lake today also.

Possee, On CCT's homepage if you looked at the newswrap it had a link to an article in the Wall Street Journal. It says Cape Wind would supply 75% of our energy needs on the Cape. It also would be eligible for subsidies by the Federal Government. I would like to see this area get the jobs and subsidies. I wouldn't worry about the deceased Sea Captains not approving of the project. "Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. Personally, I think Cape Wind is the best idea for the Cape. I would rather see that than breathe the air from the dirty Canal Plant, drill for oil on Georges Bank (which it sounds like Canada is considering) Would you rather see a nucular plant or a wind farm. There aren't alot of choices here.

Maybe they will all start being better behaved to they don't end up with their pictures on the Cape Cod Today. What a novel idea, taking resposibility for what you do. Keep up the good work Yarmouth. I wish all the other towns would join in with the pictures and charges.

I think it's a step in the right direction. I believe if you put the windfarm to a vote, of all the people on the Cape & Islands, it would pass by a wide margin.

I wish all the towns would post on CCT like Yarmouth does. You get to see their pictures! It's almost as good as watching COPS!

I feel bad for the beach attendents and life guards. I wouldn't want to be them going up to someone they don't know and asking them to leave the beach.

You hit the nail on the head with your last post Peter. Enough is enough! Something needs to be done and soon! I hate to see business on Main St suffer because of this. Personally, I love to shop, but I go to Falmouth, Mashpee, Chatham, Provincetown, Orleans, Wellfleet because I do not feel safe in Hyannis on Main St.

Way to go! You may want to add something like whenever you get caught doing anything wrong, you go back to where you came from. No fines, no more bull!

I hope something can be done about the people that hang around the streets. I know I feel uncomfortable passing the village green when I go to Town Hall.

Christy has at least taken the initiative to be the leader of the pack when the gas prices are going down. The coupons this summer saved me money. I always checked on mass gas prices to see who was running lower prices and felt that with the coupon I did better. I have never bought a woopie pie either, but I just might have to try one after reading all the comments about them! Any chance of you running for Governor again Christy?

I think if you look back over time you will see it has been that way for many years. When applicants outnumber the jobs you can pay less for employees.

Maybe if there weren't so many illegals working for cheap and living with more than is legally allowed in houses, wages would go up.

Like a whale on dry land, I would think he would be crushed by his own weight?

I like what I am reading!

You should write a book of short stories. Your writing reminds me of a little boy I went to school with who had a wonderful imagination. Everyone in the class looked forward to hearing him read one of his stories.
