In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
argument I have heard OPPOSED to
Cape Wind is the "eyesore" issue.
In these times of energy crisis.
THAT IS NOT A VALID POINT!!!
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
"Nice try"--
Thanks for the compliment, Pete-- i'll take it as one since ya wanna USE CAPS.
O.K. PETEY--
Since you're being persistent i'm gonna yield A LITTLE bit and give you a concession--
I'll amend my earlier statement, and post:
"Peter is not concerned with alternative
energy sources for Cape Cod."
There ya go petey--
You're not going to get concessions like
that in N.Y. by the way, so be prepared.
You try to make like there is a list of alternate energy sources for Cape Cod when there really are'nt any at all planned in the immediate future and you know it.
Therefore you are opposed to alternate energy sources for the Cape, setting aside this "light bulb" thing.
At this point in time, Cape Wind really looks like a practical BEGINNING to releasing Mankind from the corporate
CLUTCHES of Big Oil.
That's the same people you
defend Petey--- Give it up.
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
the Cape.
Some of us may not like the sight of those ugly machines.
Here's JUST ONE LIST of the alternate
energy sources on Cape Cod that
you vehemently OPPOSE:
turbine tower no #1
turbine tower no #2
turbine tower no #3
turbine tower no #4
turbine tower no #5
turbine tower no #6
turbine tower no #7
There's a list if I ever saw one!
When you attack an energy source
like Cape Wind proposes, you are attacking a LIST OF solutions, yet you can conveniently package it into 2 words:
Cape Wind.
By the way, what else do you attack?
I think i'd better keep an eye on you.
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
right now.......
gimme about 5min
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
with that "list" post.
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
I'm not being "smirky" and I have'nt backed out of anything!
We notice --now that you feel compelled--
that you have listed to your credit these things like incandescent light bulbs, tidal generators in New York-- we're not concerned with N.Y. right now it's Cape Cod that affects us.
Be here now, Pete. Why not? All the people you slap in the face are right here, not in N.Y.
Why you bringing CAPE COD TODAY into the discussion is beyond my understanding. If anything, they are providing the medium by which to post comments. Try to have a little gratitude, okay Pete?
As far as my actual identity is concerned-- I have valid reasons for not posting my legal name if that's what you mean. That's a weak argument on your part if you have'nt figured it out by now. I guess you used it to credit yourself AGAIN since you post your (assumedly) true name.
You want to do that-- that's your business but you can't fault someone else for not doing it.
About the list-- are you still with me?
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
We need to keep it going for
a while here--
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
If you attack ONE alternate energy source
you attack them all, and I have never heard of you proposing an alternative to
Cape Wind which leave Big Oil happy.
So, you think you've found a flaw in my
statement and you're trying to exploit it, right? Wrong!!
Alternate energy sources for the public
are very rare while we pay miserable $$$
at the gas pump.
You're a servant of Big Oil, Pete.
And he wants a list, too....
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
When gas was $4 a gallon you did'nt
seem to give a damn about THAT!!
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
In your last post you have (practically) confirmed my statement that you attack alternate energy sources and EVERYBODY knows it Peter. You're sinking like Dubya.
Give it up.
Whethter or not you like Shecky-- he has a valid point-- the public, meaning the "common man" has valid enemies like
Big Oil Companies.
You've ESTABLISHED yourself as a defender of those enemies--
Just as Benedict Arnold did.
Give it up Pete. Your oxygen's going.
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
In response to: The fabulous debate over wind power on Nantucket Sound
DEBATE?? You've been debating common sense and slapping the public by attacking alternate energy sources like Cape Wind.
We understand the filibuster. Pete.
In response to: Obama calls on renewable energy in his inaugural speech
Why don't you take your miserable useless
insults and post them on the CCtimes
where they belong.
Anyone who reads the content of your posts
can clearly see they are'nt worth
a pile of dog%$#!# anyway.
Thanks for the stats too.
Nobody cares.
Have a nice day!

Is it really relevant?
Let's do one better than that, like
maybe your VIEWPOINT??
It's the same self-serving reconfigured
republican "logic" that's been toturing
this country for the last 8 years.
The sad part is that someone is in
jail. I hope he does'nt by chance

In response to: Enthusiastic Chef John revels in Wampanoag cooking
It's a happy story about two people

should because his personality is just

In response to: Wind farm backers, opponents tussle over 'safe separation'

Posting "screw this nonsense", yet returning 24hrs later at 12:30 in

I'm pro-Cape Wind but i'll respect
common sense over invisible
"volumes" any day.

This is the STUPIDEST ARTICLE
I have EVER seen this website post!!!
Were you drinking when you wrote this?
This is trash!!! If I were the editor
of this site I would delete this obscenity and blacklist the author.
I could read better journalism on

In the realm of fiction you are'nt
missing much at all, really.

In response to: Cape Cod’s happy hunting ground?
To shoot a high-powered weapon at
a little waddling duck is just sadistic.
It's the "sport" of cowards who trick
their own feeble minds into thinking
they're brave.
Even after admitting she has to wear an orange cap just to walk in her yard,
Susan Spencer's lackadaisical stand on this issue is just as cruel (though not by intent) as the
man who shoots the little waddling
duck because a written opinion has influence on sick minds in our society.
She's obviously trying to find a happy medium for all in writing this article, but she can't.
She can't because violence exists in the
equation. Does it originate from the little waddling duck that's just minding his own business trying to stay alive? Of course not. He's the victim.
The violence (the PROBLEM) stems from the sick mentality
of someone who wants to KILL something.
If any "sportsmen" are offended by this,
I could'nt care less.
Your the troublemakers with
your miserable guns, not me.
In response to: An Army of "1" Handles the Homeless Issues for all of Cape Cod
In response to: Barnstable may target panhandling, loitering by street people
You've just proved my point.
In response to: Barnstable may target panhandling, loitering by street people
It's just so contemptable to see the weakest part of society (the homeless)
attacked en masse. It emulates the animal kingdom big-dog-eats-little-dog
mentality.There's nothing human about it.
In response to: Barnstable may target panhandling, loitering by street people
dictate his account of what claims he saw
on Ocean St. regarding Arcenio Lopez Jr.
It's HIS word, his account and the oldest trick in the book and present it as "fact". Weak minds fall for this and there's no shortage of them on the internet. They need valid information, not hearsay.
Some things mentioned about the incidents in Hyannis I will agree with,
but since they're posted by a man who advocates physically assaulting the homeless, the credibility of these
"facts" is akin to a fox guarding a henhouse.
He also posts "Those who disrupt should be banished from the county. The ancient law--"
This is 2008 and the integrity of this "ancient law" (i'd like to know a little more about this) may be in question in today's society. There were
also "ancient laws" to burn witches.
At the end he posts:
"The truly needy suffer because of the truly malicious"
I could'nt think of any greater human NEED than food and shelter.
His previous three posts dance right over this undeniable FACT.
In response to: Barnstable may target panhandling, loitering by street people
frustrate the Gestapo tactics of people
like J. Gregory Milne.
In response to: Forum set on Hyannis street people
This is America.
Does the U.S. constitution "classify" people?? Why not get straight to the point-- say "classify and REMOVE" because that's what people like you want to do with the homeless. People with that barbaric solution AND Frauline Cynthia Cole are gonna be in for a disappointment because Massachusetts is about the last state in the country to
"classify" (a term used to justify passing judgement on someone) human beings unless they are hospitalized, handicapped, under arrest, or incarcerated.
If you want to "classify" people try
going to Valdosta, Ga. because if you want to attach your hopes to Cape Cod with that outlook you're walking uphill, against the wind to a big disappointment.
Hyannis is'nt going to be the little Peyton Place people like Cynthia Cole
want it to be.
What she said about taking away their food (this woman is actually attacking the Salvation Army) is less than a Nazi outlook because the Germans kept their own people well fed.

Censorship has it's virtues!!
In response to: Negative News: Where's the Good Stuff?
I think it's very important that people in general realize this as association is very influential and if someone reads enough bad news without the proper insight they will undoubtedly
develop depression.
If the amount of despair (even to the point of suicide) that the public has acquired over the years because of this policy could be measured, it would be enourmous.
Should we blame? Of course not because some things will always have a pattern. Speeders will always speed and people who visit bars or nightclubs will always get behind the wheel to go home.
EDUCATION is the answer. I think people should always be taught never to take things at face value. Try giving that to Rupert Murdoch.
