Saving whales is a great cause, but the show is baaaaad. Don't remember this guy. I could't stand watching it.

In response to: How can anyone still question Global Warming
I am an ardent supporter of renewable energies, but the Cape Wind project has fundamental flaws. I keep asking "who is going to get rich off of this?" because people are. Private people...not the citizens of the Cape or the residents of Mass. But we're the ones who will suffer the destruction of the Sound, the loss of property value...all while some people get outrageously rich. Also, I'm personally not convinced this isn't going to endanger our fragile environment in the Sound during construction. Think of all the whales, seals, birds... Many don't care. They erroneously think the seals are eating our fish and are evil and say to hell with the seals. Wrong... SCIENCE. We need to look at UNBIASED science as to how Cape Wind will impact sea life .. and what the long term impact will be to the Sound. Mostly ... are we willing to risk the safety and beauty of the Sound so that a few private individuals can become filthy, stinking rich? Or is there a more rational approach to wind energy?

Who is going to get filthy stinky rich from the destruction of the sound? NOT those whose property values and lives will be impacted. I'm not one of them...but I feel for them. I'm am 100% in favor of green energy -- but it's got to be *smart* and destroying the sound is ludicrous. Follow the money....

**edited to add -- the game fish.

The seals aren't stripping the oceans of fish. Humans are. Proof? Look at the research of what is found in the bellies of seals when they do necropsies. Science...it's our friend :-)

In response to: Snowstorm, then deep freeze, heading Cape's way
It always cracks me up when the neanderthals say "OH it's cold --there is no global warming." Hahahaha. Let's ignore the forest for the trees, George the destroyer Bushies. Keep talking. I'd give you an open mic. Your absolutely moronic "intellect" shines through loud and clear.

He RENTED a 4 mil house for a **weekend**. Doesn't exactly make him rich! This is probably the only member of Congress who commuted the majority of his career on a train. Try as hard as you might, this guy is *not* loaded *and* does live like most of his constituents.

There is a man who appears to be homeless in Provincetown. I have been asking around to find out if anyone is "looking after" him in any way -- pointing him towards help. No one seems to know anything. I wish I knew what else to do.

LOL. And the earth is flat and that gravity crap is nonsense, too.
