any time there is change there will be scare tactics and fearmongers, naysayers and the NIMBY crew.... does anyone recall the efforts to stop the fore supression canopy and all the hoopla that went along with that for the LaCross family?? I say, Christy, walk away- let the building continue to be the eyesore that it is, which will only furthre decline because no one else is going to put the money into it-and then become a firetrap and slowly we'll see "downtown" Dennis start to look like Dennisport-oh and by the way- Dennis lost it's quaintness when all the off Cape people moved in....If I want a great sandwich I fight the monstrosity of a parking lot- danger danger and go to the Merc, if I want a Spoon Roast, I fight the mess and go to DPM- Christy's can't and won't be competition for that- face it- there won't be any food taken from your table over this.......
