It angers me that no one is seeing the potential environmental damage when a hurricane sweeps thru the area knocking everything in it's path into the sea...hurricanes do this. Who cleans this up tax payers?
Put the windmills on land what could be more obvious.
In response to: A Carbon Tax, Not Cap-and-Trade

Obviously self interest is what we see here, with no long term consideration to the environment.
I'm an environmentalist and I see no benefit to this wind farm.
The Earth warming subject has run it's course, thinking people realise it's NOT caused by man.
Please go to the Heartland Institute.org
In response to: Barack Obama win 2009 Nobel Peace Prize
Nobel must be flipping in his grave.
In response to: Mihos needs to cut ties with anti-wind farm bloc
It saddens me greatly that so many naive people seem to envision an "Alice in Wonderland" world with this wind farm.
There are so many good reasons why this installation would be a disaster from the start. A few are::
* Inconsistant power availability
* Hurricane vunerablity..1938
* High cost of power
* No effect on Earth warming
* Please go to...Heartland Insitute.org
for Earth warming facts......
In response to: Christy Speaks Out on Governor Patrick's Senate Appointment
Remember, no incumbents next time you vote....
In response to: 1938: The 'wind that shook the world' kills 700
Wind mill towers punched down into the glacial till of Nantucket Sound wouldn't stand a chance of surviving hurricane winds. Look up the destruction Katrina caused in the Gulf of Mexico. Over 100 oil drill platforms blown over. These towers reportedly designed for such winds.
Cape Wind might be comming but it will be going in the first hurricane, mark my words.
In response to: Another manatee visit in Dennis
How do you give aa Manatee a drink of freshy water??
In response to: 1932: 15,000 view eclipse here.1954: Hurricane Carol and Edna
Do you still think a wind farm is a good idea?
I tnink not. The proposed wind farm would provide minimum benefit power wise, but be in a position to cause maximun devastation environmentally after a hurricane tears through. Wind mills down, transformer platform sunk, oil contamination along the shore from Nantucket Sound to Boston. 130 wind mills over, remember these wind mills are punched into glacial till, a very unstable medium to build on. Keep my wind mills on land thank you......

Let's have all the politicians who have the health care plan they now enjoy switch to Ted's plan. Since he thinks so highly of it..then we'd all be on the same plan.....I'd appreciate your comments on this Senator.
In response to: Christy fundraiser fills hall
Let's bring the truth out, I'm sick of Obama's lies and misinformation. You see what a few trillion has done to his popularity. Now he wants another trillion....Obama's 'promise',this health care won't cost you a dime. Who's stupid enough to believe that.....

In response to: What Global Warming looks like in Chatham today
Please go to the Cape Cod Natural Science Museum in Brewester and view the excelent display of what the Cape looked like a few thousand years ago and how the natural processes,the Earth is know for, have shaped the Cape to what it is today. Bring as many "environmentalists" with you including the politicians who continue to dwell on missinformation.
Take a course on the subject. Your group is missinformed. This gobal warming is a natural process that man has no control over,it's been going on since the begining.

In response to: Stop the Industrialization of Nantucket Sound
the subject.......keep up the good observations, by keeping an open mind.
In response to: Stop the Industrialization of Nantucket Sound
Keep in mind the oil/gas platforms, most are four legged, are in virgin earth...not glacial till such as Nantucket Sound is.
I didn't realise you were getting paid, good luck, you'll need the income when you get your electric bills after your turbines are on the grid (fat chance of that)......
In response to: Stop the Industrialization of Nantucket Sound
Piggie: I'm very flatered by my adorable fans quoting my thoughts. Now if they would learn from what I'm trying to teach the naive amongst them, my work would be done. There are many opportuniies on the web to learn all about the subject. Don't be fooled by what others say.... find out for yourself.

Prior the glacier melting the ocean level was 450 feet below todays level.
This warming is a normal part of on going cycles here on Earth since it's begining. Earth's history has shown these cycles vary over time. Some indications show we are in for a cooling period.
None of these cycles are caused by man or influenced the slightest bit.
Wind mills will not have any effect on these cycles. This is God's purview.
Please think for yourselves, stop being so naive, get the facts
