In response to: Mary Jo Kopechne died 40 years ago today
I hope you don't really believe what you are writing. Still, I'm open to suggestions from someone that was there during this time. Did she sneak into the car? Someone from the party put her in the car? I suppose its all possible, seeing as Kennedy's reputation for being sober has been tarnished, but I don't buy it. And neither does anyone else. I don't wish harm to anyone but what goes around comes around and as one poster said here 'someone's got a lot of 'splainin to do at the pearly gates!' No disrespect Mary, but claiming he didn't even know she was in the car is very farfetched.

I did see the story on the chimp, and I wonder if the owner will be charged as well. If it were a Rott or pitt they would be. The chimp was shot if I'm not mistaken, sparing the owner the pain and agony of having to put it down or wait for someone else to decide that. The chimp was in the wrong; but like any animal, they can turn but doesn't it make you wonder why? what provoked it? Being protective of its' owners?
In response to: Subaquatic Santeria Sentiment!
No, obfuscator, although I'm always looking for a good place to run the dogs-never took them there :-) My rott is a good dog, second one I've owned... used to think they were UGLY as all hell but... they grew on me. First one someone gave to us b/c they couldn't take care of it... and the second we got as a pup about a year after the first one passed away at 8. *Been told they have a very short life span, bummer* yes, almost 28 years.

We are all contributing taxes to alot of causes we don't support. And you are right, I have a LOT of nerve. However, I don't consider myself cozying myself up to anyone. Assuming you are talking about GW Bush.
