In response to: A Cape Cod Life: Bill Snowden
I've heard you speak for years, and know that you will rub many the wrong way, but this is the only really open, unedited forum on Cape Cod and a perfect place for your view.
Expect the barbarians to be pounding on the fates, but illegitimi non carborundum.

In response to: Boston Globe urges President to back Cape Wind
It took Florida years to reclaim their own heritage.
The Globe simply is doing what a responsible media should do and speak truth to power.
In response to: Heed the Will of the Voters
Liquor is quicker,
But pot is HOT !
In response to: BULLETIN: Eunice Kennedy Shriver died at 2 AM today
It is so refreshing to see cc2day do the opposite, and publish photos of her at her zenith during and just after the Camelot years.
Your two photos of Eunice show this lovely lady at her remembered best and not at her least attractive and most enfeebled.
In response to: Christy fundraiser fills hall
Doesn't Christy know how many thinking people (you know, the kind who actually vote) are turned off by this garbage.
I was really shocked last night.
In response to: Christy's of Cape Cod in Chatham

Where was their anger at the destruction caused on the shoals and the entire sound by dredging for the past century.
This is another kiss-ass to Godfather Ted and his consigliere Dulahunt to curry favor with their new masters.
In response to: MA sues US over Gay Rights; Baker vs. Mihos vs Patrick vs Cahill; Cape woman arrested in Taunton parking lot; 1 in 7 MLB players from CCBL; Bugs eat Cape; Patrick Kennedy says he's sober
Ain't it strange how guys go from the government regulatory agency (his position as Secretary of Health and Human Services) right into the very industry he swore to regulate for the good of the people.
Like Ted says, we deserve Baker.
In response to: MA sues US over Gay Rights; Baker vs. Mihos vs Patrick vs Cahill; Cape woman arrested in Taunton parking lot; 1 in 7 MLB players from CCBL; Bugs eat Cape; Patrick Kennedy says he's sober
His campaign slogan should be,
"From that wonderful guy who brought you today's health insurance debacle."
Wow! Talk about out of touch egoism.
In response to: PERRY OFFERS RESOLUTION BEFORE HOUSE PROTECTING 10th AMENDMENT
Really Obsolete Parody
In response to: Questioning Memorial Day
Any mother may speak of a son's death, whereas no male should dare.
A better Republican said, “I don't want to see the Republican Party ride to political victory on the Four Horsemen of Calumny - Fear, Ignorance, Bigotry, and Smear” - Margaret Chase Smith.
Luckily dissent is still allowed here, thanks mostly to the Democratic Party.
In response to: Judge finishes questioning McCown jurors; Decision promised soon; Retrial called likely
What per cent of the town budget is that? And shouldn't Truro expect competence for that cost?
The town must be a veritable crime capital to warrant that concentration of fuzz.
In response to: Renee Sherwood looks to oust Cynthia Stead as top Cape GOP Woman.
In response to: State Unmoved by Dr. Gryboski's Clean Bill
Try a little self-honesty - you're a whining, unemployable twit and attempt to prove you are alive by dominating this media site to the amusement of your betters.

Who took Mary Jo Kopechne to bed
Mary said "I'm so happy
To be driving on old Chappy,
Let's turn right towards the Dike Bridge instead."
In response to: An Open Letter to the Old Media
Richardson played in the CCBL and the wind farm is the ONLY local angle in this year's presidential race, and the Times is ignoring it !
Wonder why?
Could it be that they've written 80 editorials against the wind farm and are totally prejudiced on the subject?
In response to: What took you so long, Mr. Delahunt?
First the pudgy, vapid, cliché laden Irish Pol, then an articulate, learned, dignified professional in renewables.
In response to: A Ghost Story
Why didn't O'Keefe answer?
In response to: Kinetic art, or ugly?
They don't give a rat's butt for us - they are the people like Bill Koch and Doug Yearley who own the fossil fuel companies which will profit from high energy prices.
In response to: Kinetic art, or ugly?
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it people will eventually come to believe it."

In response to: Romney's Bigger Problem on the Homefront
In response to: Environmental Group spurns Alliance
We didn't bother to wonder why the local daily isn't uncovering these shams - the oil moguls who fund the Alliance have the management in their pocket.

Combined, those programs wouldn't use up even half of our money pot. So we could then turn to poverty and education, starting with universal preschool for every three- and four-year-old child across the country. The city of New Orleans could also receive a huge increase in reconstruction funds.
Other economists believe the cost will EXCEED 2 TRILLION.

In response to: Bush: Born Again On Global Warming?
On the retrieval side of the X-ray machine my friend was advised to wait as the contents of her bag needed some looking into. After a few minutes the inspector arrived ... a Muslim woman dressed in full head scarf and tunic. To say the least, we were taken aback.
Congress was able to keep Dubai from managing our ports alright, but couldn't keep an Al Qaeda look-alike from peering into our privates. Next thing you know, we'll be offering the enemy Social Security and Medicare in an heroic and patriotic endeavor to show them that not only does democracy really work, it pays, too.
Next time we fly, I'm going to peer into the cockpit with more than idle curiosity.
In response to: Audubon endorses wind power nationally
Multiply that times 3 a year for my house, then times every house in America, and you have the bird-kill problem.
Let's ban glass windows on houses and kill all the cats to save the birds while we're eating chicken and turkey

In response to: Report: Little harm from offshore wind farms in Denmark
These haridans can't see the forest for the trees, or in this case, the ocean for the turbines. Save you breath.

"Worst Person in the World"? Paste this in your browser:

In response to: "Our choice for governor isn?t even close"
Ageing, impaired Ted Kennedy should "get a life". Forget your ocean view and join the voters who have supported you for four decades in supporting ANY renewable energy idea which lessens our dependence on Arab Oil !!!
In response to: Most expensive house in state is here

In response to: Patrick, Murray, Barros. Peake, Maloy win
You are obviously a Peake provocateur. Get real, and comment using your own idenitfy as Aaron does. This only proves what a nasty campaigner your candidate is.

These are not draftees inducted against their will, but professional warriors who knew exactly what they could possibly get into.
Ask every tenth person you meet over the next week what they think of the Iraq War II and you've have a better idea of where the voters will be in November... or ask Joe Lieberman. His Hartford CT number is (860) 549-8463.
On the other hand, it would have been better for your candidacy if this GOP President had emulated Reagan and invaded a country we might be able to conquer like Panama or Granada.
In response to: Tut-tutting from the Times on Gabrieli
Finally, after over 60 CCT negative editorials on Cape Wind, the CCTimes editorial board has actually brainwashed themselves to their own unvarnished hypocrisy and schizophrenia.
Today's editorial is quite astonishing.
It will be interesting to see how folks respond in their Letters to the Editor column.

You're correct about The Kreme 'n Kone if you mean the one in Dennis on 28 at 134. It's great and they now have a deck overlooking Swan River.

In response to: Where is Barbara Tuchman when we need her?
Don't you know all the right-wing readers will call you unpatriotic for suggesting such a rational view?
