Do any of you have jobs or do you guys ever sleep? Is everything in your daily vocab about the Worthington murder? All you post in here is just going to go down the toilet if the judge drops the appeal. All the posting in the world isn't going to change his mind.

Any apologies to Prada now Jeff, now that it has been printed in the paper that his dismissal had nothing to do with the murder? It was something completely different yet you wanted to mix this issue with the murder. When his phone don't ring, he'll know it's you.

Roderick lost his job because he was an incompetent fool. He didn't complete tasks given to him by his boss and on top of it all, he couldn't swim nor drive the rescue boat. Is that what you want in a harbormaster? He was on his way out for a long time prior to when he got done. I had nothing to do with the murder. But in crusaders world .....

If what he's reporting on is based on his insight and opinions, then yes his credibility is an issue. But if he is using facts that others have brought forward now for some time like Bryant, then he is reporting fact and his credibility is of no issue.
03/05/08 @ 8:20 pm
I saw the reoprt too and thought it was very one sided. Never existed? Why would well known and respected artists have their names on a list of people that donated art but really never did? Mr Bryant IS owed an apology not only from Ms. Leclair but also from Fox for not interviewing him for the peice. I hope they do a follow up soon for the other side. Maybe its something better suited for Mike Beaudet with fox undercover.

What a crowd of supporters! Okeefe the dunce DA who was ushered in by Rollins his predecesor (thank you very much for nothing), Henri KICKENBACK of the well known poitical kick-backers, and Jeff "what have you done for me lately" Perry. I think her supporters sums up here career. By the way Buzz, you say thank you to her for having served us for so long but isn't it surprising to see this story under Robbins' story on her questionable positions as a county insider all these years. Don't you suppose, as mentioned in your post, that while she served us, she was actually helping herself?

The problem in Wellfleet is that it part of old cape cod, where you only get ahead if you live in town. Show me someone or something that has emerrged in Wellfleet by someone thats not from town. To do these guys justice, this blog should be sent with any and all additional supporting materials to the state ethics commission with a lawsuit on all the members that voted on the issue that didn't step away due to conflict of interest. Just because his mother owns something or his family owns something or because someone else in the other guys family works for someone doesn't mean they don't have a conflict. The law is very specific to include monetary gains that iclude family members. They never should have voted on this issue and also, they will now have to buy their own lawyers and protect themselves from the inevitable. The town does not cover the ZBA members on personal issues. They are apparently too stupid to understand the law due to the fact that they never probably had to investigate the law because everybody else that applies is from town and "knows better".

After Christa was killed, similar events occurred & was predicted by a Ptown local. "chiefs will resign...she was killed because they didn't like her lifestyle". Now the first part of that is true, (resign.'s)but happened over a year's time.

A ptown local? A ptown nut the magician! Thats what you're going on? Thats as insightful as a fortune teller. The ptown chief, Meyer, resigned because thselectmen didn't renew the contract. ATTACH WHAT? ATTACH THIS WHOLE DAMN THING TO PRADAS LEAVING! The lower cape is a very small place and even smaller in the winter. Does the Worthington murder have to be brought up everytime an official in Truro or anywhere on the lower capes makes a move in their life? You've gone to the absurd level of mixing his leaving with the revisited murder case and you don't think thats out of line and damaging to Pradas private life, regardless of what it is that he was on leave for? Give me a break!

And for the last time hopefully, BS, DC has never been proven to have been sleeping with CW. If proof is out there, please post a link. Get your facts straight if your going to the mat for someone.

halheetlor,
Never seen you in here so, welcome. You seem to have very specific comments as to your take on the murders. As far as the evidence being so absolutely overwhelming, I'll ask you the same question I have asked time and time again in this forum. What proof did the police or the DA provide that would show the justification for 1st degree murder when there was no proven premeditation nor motive, 1st degree rape when there was no proof of rape at all, just sex as testified to by an expert in the field and 1st degree burglary when nothing was found in his possession nor were there any witnesses that claim he stole anything. Show me the proof and I will agree with you that he should be in jail. Be warned though, nobody has provided anything for proof so far.

And if we as a society are going to get rid of discrimination, then get rid of reverse discrimination as well as you refered to in your "It wasn't until white guys started getting turned down for jobs" comment. Equal is equal all around. When all the rules on BOTH sides are changed, then we can truly move forward. Until then, which usually means the ones discriminated against don't want to give up their benificial discrimnatory practices like seperate bathrooms or racial quotas and the like, the old rules will remain in place. Fair is fair if it comes from BOTH sides at the same time unequivocally.

Any activity that mixes the sexes usually sucks, (other than sex. haha.) There are times when the boys want to be boys and the girls want to be girls. Would you ladies like it if one of the husbands went out with you girls on girls night out? No way. And thats the situation here. Offer up a mixed tournamnet some other timer, just not this one. Why is it ok in sports for the girls, who may have an abundance of talent, to participate in the boys games but the boys are NEVER allowed to play on the girls teams? Schools offer tennis to both sexes as well as golf, basketball, gymnastics, track and field and almost equivilent baseball/softball. But the girls at times are always allowed, if they can, to play hockey, football and wrestling. Try to be a guy and request to play on the girls field hockey team which is not offered to boys. See what hell happens then. The boys are too fast, too big, too strong. But remember, we're all equal. BS. BTW, is her handicap based on play from the mens tees or the womens tees and what tees would she have to play from in the tourney? And yes, Wie is hot.

I'm not buying it. To get drunk, you have to get off the couch, get in your car or walk to the store, buy the booze, walk or drive home or wherever you're going to drink it, open it, drink it and continue to drink it, all along the way having many chances while sober to just stop along the way.

By comparison I believe, their numbers or percenatges are far more troubling.

You DO destroy people and their private lives. Where do you get off condeming this fire chief? From what this blog says, with no proof? Is everybody somehow "involved" in your little mystery world? What about the new chief? Is he involved in it too because his brother years ago was a cop in Truro. How about the selectwoman who was the first one on the scene? What is she covering up? How about the other cops that are no longer on the force, having left to other jobs. Were they hiding things and running away or forced away? How about the other selectwoman that left town after her term was up? What did she know? What about the other Frazier uncle, the Wellfleet fireman? What does he know? What's he covering up? Quick answer to all of these questions is NOTHING. They are just going about their lives with nothing to hide yet you continue to MAKE UP a load of BS to drag them into your little nightmare of a life. Shut up and wait for the appeal to go through and leave others alone.

If you could get your facts straight maybe someone will listen to you but you get yourself all kaflustered in the mess and you start posting in tongues! Ya, I do think there is going to be a retrial and yes, I do think the DA is a baffoon but the way you try to connect everything that everyone does to the murder is insanity at best. And if you're listening to ANYTHING magician posts, you really need help. I personally know the people he/she relates to and these are certified NUTS on the lower cape. They were when I knew them and they tend not to change over time. What will happen to your world when one by one, people involved in this murder, whether in reality or in your world, decide legitimately to retire, move, die, switch jobs, marry or divorce or otherwise. You may have started you campaign on a good note but you have gone way south on your diatribes. No doubt, you have lost most that may have at one time, like me, supported you. You have no proof of your acusations and are now going too far. Get a hobby that doesn't destroy people.

Any artwork on the cape is highly valued. The cape is a mecca to artists from all over the globe. I'm glad to see Bryant doing what he does the best of anyone I know, attending to the minutia of history on the cape. Nobody but Bryant would care or even know these paintings existed. Nobody may have profited from their disappearance but the county has lost as it was posted. It's somewhat interesting that LeClair claims nobody profited. How does she know? Has anyone been to her home lately? Someone profited because well to do folks in government don't steal paintings. They have a henchman do it and pay him a nominal fee for his troubles. To me, thats a profit.

Fact is that these low income homes go to people the community needs but these very same people don't realize they are in the group called low income or don't want to be associated with it. Cops making 65K and teachers making 40K and yes, the landscapers, cooks, painters, town hall clerical staff, town workers and the like all need a place to live and that's what the idea is all about. To live on the cape and own a home, the average income needed is around 85-90K, not easily accomplished even on two incomes. That's who will live in these "ghettos".

It is illegal for the commish to ask why you want those files. He has NO right to ask. It's none of his business, just as it's no business for the bank teller to ask what you are going to spend the money you just withdrew. FOIA laws are quite clear on this. Actually, I believe the CCTimes does a "sunshine laws" sting every year on the cape, going from town to town asking for records just to see if town hall personel are up to snuff on the law. Most, as witnessed here, are not.

Matt Frazier has nothing to do with Magnum Movers. He doesn't even "dig dirt" as mentioned . Matt Frazier is involved in a number of small businesses not involved in this matter. His biggest enterprise is hauling trash in containers up and down the cape, employing his nephew Jeremy. Matts brother, Jeremys father Froggy Frazier, is a landscaper who frequents the Hole in One. Matt Frazier, years ago, was a Truro cop that left the force on a physical disability. The black vehicle seen on Depot Rd. had its partial plate traced back to a similar plate registered to Matt Frazier on one of his commercial vehicles.

Lets just keep the facts straight if we're going to go anywhere with this story.

Lets get one other thing straight then, McCain is a liberal, no doubts about it or at the very least wants to be. A vote for McCain is a wasted republican vote. He WILL NOT continue the true republican traditions, described as you want. And if you think with McCain we're getting out of Iraq quick, guess again. Remember (as if we can't forget that he was a war "hero" 40 years ago) he's a vet and feel's for the combat troops over there. He won't come home without a clear victory. And "hero" is typed as such due to the fact that a guy that gets shot down is no hero. He's a lousy pilot. Ya, he was tortured but so were so many others that didn't get their stories told as support for political gain. Anyone smell Kerry in the room, another liberal??????? Another poster in another forum reminded me of the term "puttin the boots to it". "Knockin boots" years ago metaphorically meant someone was having sex, "he was knockin' boots with her" Is there any possibility that CM meant that when he said "puttin' the boots to her"? To be honest, I've never really heard the term "puttin' the boots to her/him" to mean fighting.

Anyway, magician, you seem to be combining a dozen different names, stories, places, issues, friends and results into one big confusing ball. Do I believe you? Probably. But when you made the comment that DC was an undercover cop in the Bradford, well, its just not possible. EVERYBODY knows DC. How could he be undercover and make those comments for instance. He's the last person to be undercover. And the Soonys scam? What are you talking about and what does that have to do with the CW case? Would anyone in here trust a cop outside of their job or even in their job? Not me. They always have the badge on their side, have nothing to lose if they lie, most likely won't get caught and as a rewult of having that badge, are more apt to lie when they think its ok. Regardless of the issue, who are you going to believe in court, a cops word or the defendants? You would assume the cops because we are led to and taught to believe a cop is working in your favor to maintain whats righ tin society. How many cops do you know drunk drive, abuse their wives, cheat, work under the table, drive way over the speed limit all the time and constantly rub it in our faces? Who do you really trust?

The fire in the building had NOTHING to do with BSG. It was a seperate property and seperate building that BSG had no control or interest in. Get you facts straight man!

This is being discussed over at the Times' site also.

I'm with producer on this one. The charges will be minor if any. It's not like he committed a crime with the guns. This is just an unwarrented flex of muscle at the TPD.

As to the issue of whether these "illegal" guns were to be stolen by intruders and used elsewhere, plenty of legally owned weapons are stolen from home all the time as a result of a break in. It's not just the illegal ones that make their ways into the hands of criminals. O'Keefe had his stolen not too longago. I'm assuming he was legally in possesion of those and if not, why hasn't he been trated the same way?

And here's a little more on the lower cape;

In Truro, some areas you mention, Hog's Back, Neck, Head Pamet and Truro station are all long gone. The newer names or regions you didn't mention are North Pamet or South Pamet,(depending on the side of the river you're from), Sladeville, Phats Valley, Twinefields, Seventh Heaven (a region of the Seashore), and of course "the backside" refering to the entire Atlantic coast with a few homes dotting the cliffs. A good contact for more info is Norm Pope. He's in the book.

As far as P-town, the town has two distnct areas, the east end and the west end., Other than that, not much else.

And both Truro and Wellfleet share Bound Brook, an are in south Truro/northern Wellfleet in the seashore. And in Wellfleet, don't forget High Toss.

In response to: The Roger Clemens Story
Possibly the worst blog entry I've read in quite some time. He looked bulky in a bulky shirt? No kidding. And as a big guy was sweating in the humidity? Wow, there's something to look into. And 60% polled feel the drug dealer was telling the truth as opposed to the icon that thousands and perhaps millions of kids look and looked up to over the years? Were those polled also told that the guy was never a licensed trainer to begin with, making him a fraud in association with the idea that he's a drug dealer? Did they listen to the conversation he had with Clemens on the phone played today where the fraud was now concerned with going to jail? Going to jail? For what, telling the "truth"? So who's lying now? And for Peter, Clemens has filed the lawsuit so enough with you speculation. This fraud lied to get himself a name, the new John Mark Carr of the baseball/steroids world. Anything for fame. And now he's sucked you into the cesspool. Way to go!
01/04/08 @ 6:15 pm
Sorry, I though you were refering to the other chief. The fire chief is doing the best he can I guess considering its a volunteer department. If the town wants a full time guy in a full time dept., they should be ready for a BIG bump in the towns budget. The arsonist could have hit anywhere. Ptown just seems to have it unfair share of nuts.
01/03/08 @ 8:07 pm
Oh come on watchdog, do tell! More alleged gay bashing in town? Couldn't be any worse than the chief in the neighboring town. Rosenthal in Welfleet is great.

Why is crusaders life so rotten? Don't know. (and please don't respond with an answer anyone)And bitter too? What I do know is Ms. Jessica will be fine. She is in a community where everybody knows and looks out for everybody else, especially in the winter. She works in a very nice place and I am sure they have a number of yearround clients/friends that all know each other. And from what she looks like according to her picture in here, she probably won't be too long alone. Enjoy the cape for what it is. It gets hectic, especially Ptown in the summer but just relax and observe and enjoy all that is around you. I actually find it great in the winter on the lower cape. It's quiet and all ours to enjoy.

If it's something like trying to find who she is at the awkward age of 16 or something as trivial as she's down from just losing a boyfriend, then sure, time will heal it and she will emerge fine with a little reassurance. If it is as some here think, something much worse, then babying her won't fix it. 16 is the time when a kid, boy or girl, will go one way or the other in life. Don't let a kid decide what they want to do with their life by themselves. Guide her and be her guardian as the law describes. Let her fall down on occasion but be there to point out why she fell and how she has to avoid that problem in the future, no acceptions. Good luck!

"McCowen's DNA was found on Worthingtons breast, medical examiner said it would have come off if she showered"

So this proves she didn't shower. So? Are you associating this fact with his convictions and why he is in jail? I don't see how, if was an attempt to, this answers my questions. Does anyone have a logical, factual answer to any of them? legalbeagles answer is just the same as everyone else that claims he's guilty. Where does he say anywhere that he killed her? Accesory? Maybe, but again, where's the proof? Frazier still has some answering for this and when he is linked to it, then the truth will come out, IMO. He'll squeel like a pig.

In response to: Reasonable doubt about a verdict
I asked it a number of times and I will ask again and if the answer is clear, I will stop thinking/saying that CM is innocent.

What factual reasoning is there that put CM in jail?

He has been convicted of 1st degree murder with no clear motive, no weapon and no witnesses that claim he killed anyone with premeditation, has been convicted of 1st degree rape when an expert explained on the stand there was no proof of forced sex and he was convicted of 1st degree burglary and nothing of hers was found on him, in his apartment or connected to him out on the streets. How does any of this make sense?

I swear Lucy is writing this blog and not you Peter. That was his exact comment at the CCC hearing, that the CCC can make reccomendations based on the standards that then have to approved by the Assembly of Delegates. The list of standards are not criteria for considering whether or not to take a project. But that's how they were used for this. The CCC can't understand its own language!

What's sad here is that the building is not part of the Brewster Sand & Gravel operations. It was outside of the pit near the main road. It was owned by Grover himself and it was a wreck anyway. Arson? No, because there is no reason. Kids playing a prank on an old delapidated building knowing someone else will get the blame after all the latest notoriety? Probably.

I just hope that whatever Grover does with the site requires him and his cohorts to comply with ALL local county, state, and federal laws regarding the property, regardless of whether Viprino did or didn't. The law is the law. Even better, I understand Daniels might go in there, the recycling company and trash haulers. Thats a much nicer neighbor, don't you think? Noise is one thing from Viprino but that ends at 4:00 pm daily. Stink is 24 hours a day. Always be careful of what you wish for.

As you point out, the CCC is way out of control. What is even more infuriating is that the Truro selectmen sent this without and concerns. They just wanted another set of eyes to look at the project. WHY??????????? And then the CCC accepts it. I hope Kline does sue the CCC, even after the review, which I am sure will change nothing that Kline has alradey complied with. He should sue on the fact that they have overstepped their bounds. Doubt if he will but he should. BTW, how is each commission member covered in legal fights? Do they each need to retain legal counsel on their own or are they covered by a commission lawyer? It's amazing that most of the members of the commission had no questions during the process. Staff tells them what to do. The commission members have no insight at all.

As usual Peter, right on the money! Susan Kadar is a very bad choice for the position or representing Truro. She has her own personal agenda and this is crazy for her to have brought this petition forward! Everything you stated in here is correct in that the commission along with the selectmen that sent it up there have no real concerns, they just want it reviewed. What CCCRAP! I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only one that opposed this idea from the start was Truro selectman Lucy and he mentioned some of the things you did at the commissions meeting. But once again, as with other issues he's raised over the years, he received no support from the other members of his own board. This is a shame. Who will be next?????

The "new" CCC? It's the same ol' same ol'. This guy Niedzwieki was appointed by a group that structured the job requirements around his qualifications! That was pointed out by two members of the search committee. He's just another one of the "good old boys" and will fit very well with the CCC. He has no insight and no direction. He'll tell you everything you want to hear and then do nothing, blaming someone else. Fact is, he and the commission are headed toward TOUGHER regulations on the Cape. Think its tough now or think they have to much ability to oversee projects? Just wait. It's gonna get worse. Trust me. Read the 21st century report they prepared for/by themselves. What a mess.

In response to: The Monster we have created
These are the points made by Chris Lucy, the truro selectman who was at the meeting and was the only one to speak against the commissions review. They don't have the authority to do so and in reality, there is nothing historical about the view. It's private property that Hopper never owned and now the neighbors and historical groups want to "take". What else did Hopper look at or across? The commission is way out of line here and the fear is that this will open the floodgates to other communities that want to have big homes reviewed and anything else they can convince the commission to fall for. Scary.

Oak Bluffs Contracts, Bonuses Illegal, Two Town Attorneys Declare in Letter

No surprise. State law limits contracts in towns to four, police and fire chiefs, accountant and town manager/administer. Thats it. All the rest are at the rik of termination by the AG. They are illegal. But is anyone surprised at this living on an island? The contracts are given to keep the people in their jobs. Turnover would kill the possibilities of filling the position with qualified applicants, considering the cost of living on the island. Anybody have any input on which way to go? I say no contract, employee at will.

In response to: SAT Scores Becoming Less Important
I took the SATs when I had to get into college and used them to see what I had accomplished at the time. They test a persons ability to use and understand language skills and understand a bit above basic math skills. Any college that doesn't use these tests as a basis for entrance will become just another one of those that have become one of the dumbed down. Most of your Ivy League schools have become just that. Who cares these days if a person gets out of a community college or Ivy League? I have a cousin that graduated from Harvard business and he's ended up becoming a roofer, usually self unemployed for lack of motivation. I have another family member that went to Villanova, graduated with essentially no "real" degree and then went to a state shool to get the degree he needed to get ahead in life. 15 years later he's a multimillionaire based on that state college degree. The school doesn't make the person, the person that gets his education from the school does. Don't waste your money on names. SATs work. Without tests to compare peoples knowledge, mediocrity becomes acceptable.
