You're got it made, BS Bill.
In response to: Clan "On Alert" for Ted's condition; Is Vickie being groomed to succeed him?
Ted wants Vickie to succeed him, but cannot afford to alienate Joe.
And Joe wants the seat, but can't run for it openly until Ted is done.
I think that's what behind the Joe for Oil ads. And also why Vickie is accompanying Ted everywhere
except the Senate floor (Patrick does that.)

"Ladies and gentlemen, these people set -- they opened the doors, they gave us the right, and today, ladies and gentlemen, in our cities and public schools we have 50% drop out. In our own neighborhood, we have men in prison. No longer is a person embarrassed because they’re pregnant without a husband. No longer is a boy considered an embarrassment if he tries to run away from being the father of the unmarried child.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the lower economic and lower middle economic people are not holding their end in this deal. In the neighborhood that most of us grew up in, parenting is not going on. In the old days, you couldn’t hooky school because every drawn shade was an eye. And before your mother got off the bus and to the house, she knew exactly where you had gone, who had gone into the house, and where you got on whatever you had one and where you got it from. Parents don’t know that today..."
In response to: MMS approves Cape Wind; no major environmental problems found
The news stories tonight reported another 55,000 jobs lost just today, and this spoiled, aged brat thinks only of himself.

And are you equally unaware that when electricity enters the National Grid it goes like water in a garden hose to the nearest users?
Come on, either you are pulling our leg, stupid or one of the jackels described above.
Are you aware that gas will one day cost $10 a gallon, not the $5 it will reach later this year?

In response to: Falmouth fire; 22 busted at house party
Prohibition CREATED the Mafia.
Drug laws created the drug lords of today and corrupted law enforcement with unlimited money.
Let free people in a democracy either make their lives good or bad - we're supposed to be free, and anyone who wants to drink or drug themselves to death has that right too.
We should offer help, and keep offering it, but you can't control another's behavior, hell, it's hard enough to control our own sometimes isn't it?
Alcohol is now sold in stores where the "users" can know what they are getting - AND THE STATE SETS THE TAX MONEY INSTEAD OF THE DRUG LORDS.
Do the same with drugs and use the tax money for drug and ALCOHOL education.
