I of all people know that better than anyone.I am dealing with the results of parents who didn't instill any values in their kids,on a daily basis.And I have a theory about raising kids...It's all in HOW you raise them.Parents these days are willing to sit back and do nothing and then blame society.just making it clear..THAT IS NOT ME! You won't find my kids names in the paper...EVER.Nor will you see me sitting back saying it's not my fault.Every parent has a responsibility to society to raise productive members of society.It may not be easy to do that these days ..but I am trying!I just wish more people would do the same.

I was there that night,we had gone to Scargo tower and could see the smoke and flames from there.As we drove to P-town on that night it amazed me how many fire truck came screaming up the highway.It's a sight I won't ever forget.My husband was a volunteer FF in another state,I know the sacrifices you all make,and it is nothing short of selfless and amazing.When we made it to the fire that night it was pure hell.It was obvious that the men were getting tired and felt like they may be fighting a loosing battle.My husband helped lug hose,as a Ptown FF took off his helmet I found him some water.I have never been so afraid for a town.Or for men I didn't know.But they fought hard and refused to let the monster win.For a "bunch of idiots"...you did a hell of a job Tim,all you guys did.

I heard last summer of a grand mother in MA whose grandson drowned under her care...it happens..thank god this kid is OK...I won't let my kids in the pool area or out of the house where there's a pool until their arm floats are on and my daughter has on those AND a life vest ...rather safe than sorry!...my husband is the same way can't multi task..therefor he doesn't take the kids swimming ALONE!...That part of Dennis is the HOOD I grew up there YEARS ago(1980's)and it wasn't like that..now I fear going through it almost as much as driving on Bearse way in Hyannis!

As for the jerk who didn't stop for the cop..well I just am glad he didn't kill anyone..and even more glad the officer had the option to use non lethal force.YPD keep up the great work..you guys are a wonderful dept.with some of the Cape's finest officers!
