"What the Butler Saw" by Joe Orton, directed by David Wheeler. June 19-July 12, Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8pm with matinees on Saturday 6/21 & 7/12 at 3:30pm.
2007 IRNE Award Winners Max Wright (Alf, WKRP in Cincinnati, All That Jazz) and director David Wheeler join forces for Joe Orton's hilarious take on pyschology and the therapy biz. Originally produced in 1969, this "classic" farce is as outrageously funny today as it was then. A lecherous psychiatrist, his naive secretary, his nymphomaniac wife, her reluctant bellhop, and a clueless inspector lead each other on a merry chase of mistaken identities, disguises, mayhem and madness. Tickets: General Admission $32; Matinee $22; Student Rush $16 (1/2 hour before show) |
