Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum

Sunday, June 8th, 1:00 pm - Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum opens for the season showcasing the new gentleman's study and the refurbished larger dining room. The only fully furnished Sea Captain's home open to the public on Cape Cod, has eight rooms on display at 11 Strawberry Lane, overlooking the village common on Rt. 6A, Yarmouth Port.

Maritime exhibits as well as antique furniture, costumes, artwork and Chinese export porcelain provide an intimate glance into 19th century family life. An eighteenth century cellar kitchen features an extensive collection of early cooking, lighting and household items.

Guided tours at 1, 2 & 3 pm Thursdays through Sundays until October 12th. For more information: 508 362-3021.

Admission: $3.00 adults, 50 cents children. Yarmouth residents free.
