Boating Skills & State Boating License Course

Five Wednesday evenings 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm starting January 11, 2012 at the Chatham Community Center. One session will be at Coast Guard Station Chatham.

The cost for adults is $35, juniors, 12-17 years old, no charge.

Instructors, experienced in local waters, will cover boat handling, rules of the road, aids to navigation, weather, equipment, radio communications and State boating regulations.

The course is National Association of State Boating Law Administrators approved. The Junior course material is provided by the Massachusetts Environmental Police.
