One stabbed in Bourne home invasion late Tuesday night

Police seeking assailant with a bat, maybe a gun

Thee men crash their car fleeing the scene of the attack, police searching woods

BOURNE - One person was stabbed in a reported home invasion at a residence on Shore Road in Bourne late Tuesday night.

Boston TV is reporting that three men assaulted a person at the home, then crashed their vehicle while fleeing the scene.

State and local police searched for the suspects for several hours.  The suspects were reportedly wielding bats and possibly a gun.  A State Police helicopter was requested but was unavailable due to weather.
