Bourne Auto Wash car fire Tuesday

Getting your car washed the hard way

Arson team called in to investigate

BOURNE - Bourne firefighters battled a car fire adjacent to the Atlantic Auto Wash on MacArthur Boulevard in Bourne Tuesday morning around 8:45 a.m. 

The vehicle, which caught fire within feet of the car wash, was quickly knocked down by firefighters, and there was no visible damage to the car wash. 

An arson investigator from the Bourne Fire Department was requested to the scene, and the cause of the fire is still unclear at this time. 

There were no reported injuries.
