GARCIA, Sean K, 31, 92 Clear Brook Rd, W. Yarmouth; breaking & entering at nighttime for felonious purposes, February 28 in Harwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 9.  According to police reports, Harwich officers dispatched to 35/37 Guilford Drive, an upper/lower duplex, found the door to #37 kicked in so as to permit illegal entry.  Police found no obvious signs of anything broken or missing.  They overheard a loud conversation between two males at the adjoining residence, 21/23 Guilford Drive, and found Garcia trying to hide behind a shower curtain in a bathroom.  Garcia had four outstanding warrants.  He was immediately handcuffed, then arrested.

Chatham; vandalizing property; larceny under $250, February 24 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 28.  According to police reports, the counts stem from an incident between Chiuchiolo  and another woman in the parking lot of the Ryan Family Amusement Center.  The two fought over payment for bowling.  Chiuchiolo was arrested.

DUNHAM, Scott R, 27, 77 Winter St, Hyannis; larceny over $250; shoplifting by container switching; assault with a dangerous weapon, a syringe, February 26 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 14.  According to police reports, Dunham cut the security cable between a Michael Kors pocketbook and its display stand.  The purse is valued at $348.  As Dunham fled Macy's toward Dunkin' Donuts, the Macy's theft prevention officer and a nearby Best Buy employee tried to stop him.  Dunham drew a hypodermic syringe from his person and jabbed at both men, as though to injure them.  He dropped the pocketbook and a Carhartt jacket, got into a black Lincoln and drove off.  The car was identified by its license plate and stopped by police a short distance away.  Dunham was arrested.

SHEEHAN, John P, 47, 77 Winter St, Hyannis; breaking & entering a vehicle or boat for felonious purposes; larceny under $250, January 25 in Brewster.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 23.  According to police reports, a Brewster officer recognized Sheehan after same was arrested on a default warrant out of Barnstable District Court.  A second officer found Sheehan in possession of a MasterCard credit card in someone else's name.  While being interviewed, and having been advised of his Miranda rights, Sheehan conceded he had entered "a couple cars" in the vicinity of Route 124 and Alden Drive.  Officers located stolen property in the bedroom used by Sheehan, including a green wallet and a pair of eyeglasses.  He was arrested.

DEPAULA, Thiago M, 25, 43 Spring St, Hyannis; receiving stolen property over $250; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, cocaine, February 21 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 22.  According to the Barnstable Police Department Statement of Facts, Barnstable detectives executed a search warrant upon 43 Spring Street, Hyannis.  Police found DePaula in possession of an iPad stolen in a recent residential break-in.  Detectives also discovered a "baggie" of cocaine, a digital scale, drug packaging materials and $2,574 in cash.  The amount of cocaine was not further specified.  DePaula was arrested.

GAY, Elizabeth L, 41, 80 Constance Ave, Yarmouth; shoplifting by concealing merchandise, February 1 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 25.

SMITH, Mary, 20, 15 Westdale Pk, Sagamore; larceny over $250, March 15 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 15.  According to police reports, Smith removed a black jacket, sneakers, makeup (Maybelline and Revlon products), and several CDs from the Hyannis Kmart, without paying for these items.  The CDs included music by Taylor Swift and Christina Aguilera.  Smith was identified by the store security officer.  She was arrested.
