The next Doing More with Less: An Internet Marketing Workshop for Small Businesses is this Friday, March 18th, from 9 am - 12 pm. The curriculum has been aligned for 2011 to reflect the changes which have taken place since I first started doing this workshop nearly a year and a half ago. These workshops are a great way to get a personalized Internet marketing plan for your business as well as network with other business professionals.
Changes for 2011
Optimizing a business website for organic search is really a topic best explored in a separate 2-hour workshop which is going to be scheduled soon. So in Doing More with Less, we will spend less time on this topic, so that at least the attendees will learn what organic SEO is and learn the 5 basic best practices. Sometimes this is all that's needed for a business to go from not showing up in search results to showing up on the first page for some search terms. Often, it's not.
Social media marketing is going to be featured more in the 2011's IM workshop, mainly because Facebook has drastically changed its policies and implemented a host of new features and functionality since last year.
Workshop can be customized and done for other organizations on-site or at eCape's office
If you would like me to run a workshop for your organization or business, please contact me. I can do any of the following:
- the standard three hour-workshop for multiple businesses
- a condensed two-hour version for members of a single organization
- two-hour workshops focusing on specific topics, including: search engine optimization, email marketing using Constant Contact, social media marketing, and local search optimization
