Truro Police 12/19-12/25: 68 calls, 2 arrests

During the past week--from Monday, December 19 to Sunday, December 25, the members of the Truro Police Department logged 68 calls. 

Of those calls, there were calls for a suspicious person, a suspicious vehicle, a reported environmental crime, a suspicious crate and a motor vehicle accident.  The two arrests below were made during this period:

Kevin J. Morey, 51, of 542 Sunshine Road, Deer Isle, ME, was arrested on Monday, December 19 at 4:25 p.m. on Route 6 during a motor vehicle stop. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Michael D. Luster, 51, of 47 Truro Center Road, Truro, was arrested on Tuesday, December 20 at 1:23 a.m. on Route 6 during a motor vehicle stop. He was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operatoin of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violations.

Yarmouth Police 12/12-12/19: 846 calls, 14 arrests

Previously--from Monday, December 12 to Monday, December 19, the members of the Yarmouth Police Department logged 846 calls. 

Of those calls, 167 were motor vehicle stops, 10 were motor vehicle crashes and 12 were domestic violence attacks.

Of the 14 arrests made during the week, the following were the most notable:

  • Tuesday, 12/13, 2:52 p.m., Marissa Ann McCormick of 9 Christmas Way, South Yarmouth....assault and battery
  • Tuesday, 12/13, 8:41 p.m., 14-year-old male (juvenile) of 137 Run Pond Road, South Yarmouth...assault and battery on a police officer
  • Wednesday, 12/14, 3:10 a.m., Daniel Rowland of 56 Hawthorne Street, Malden...felony assault and battery with a dangerous weapon
  • Thursday, 12/15, 9:34 p.m.,  Cassandra Nesta of  10 Margaret Joseph Road, Yarmouth Port....outstanding warrant
  • Friday, 12/16, 2:50 a.m.,  Hope Maineri of 615 Bean Road,  Moultonboro, NH... OUI liquor
  • Friday, 12/16, 4:56 p.m.,  Janet R. Owen of 91 Route 28, West Yarmouth...assault and battery, obstruction of justice
  • Friday, 12/16, 5:14 p.m., 14-year-old male (juvenile) of 137 Run Pond Road, South Yarmouth...felony assault and battery with a dangerous weapon
  • Saturday, 12/17, 1:08 a.m., Medilea E. Rose of 907 Route 6A, Brewster...outstanding warrant
  • Sunday, 12/18, 1:30 a.m.,  Tyler Robert Sousa of 10 Vacation Lane, West Yarmouth...felony breaking and entering to a motor vehicle
  • Sunday, 12/18. 8:44 p.m.,  Earl N. Cash III of 29 Melville Road, South Yarmouth...assault and battery
  • Monday, 12/19, 2:00 a.m.,  David Angelo Lunedei of 17 Thomas Path, West Yarmouth...assault and battery
  • Monday, 12/19, 10:57 a.m., Molly E. Watson of 23 Lakewood Road, South Yarmouth...felony larceny
  • Monday, 12/19, 4:05 p.m.,  Jessica Lynn Krikorian of 18 Yankee Drive, Brewster...three outstanding warrants
  • Monday, 12/19, 11:58 p.m., Mary S. Daley of   1320 Alewife Circle, South Yarmouth...assault and battery

Truro Police 12/12-12/18: 75 calls, 2 arrests

During the past week--from Monday, December 12 to Sunday, December 18, the members of the Truro Police Department logged 75 calls. 

Of those calls, there were calls for a suspicious person, suspicious activity and larceny.  The two arrests below were made during this period:

Calvin C. Buchanan, 28, of 101 Shore Road, Apt. 6 in Truro, was arrested on Thursday, December 15 at 6:39 p.m. on Shore Road during a domestic disturbance call. He was charged with assault and battery.

Monireath Meas, 31, of 26 Hillside Street, Apt. 26 in Lowell, was arrested on Friday, December 16 at 9:58 a.m. on Route 6 during a motor vehicle stop. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a number plate violation.

Yarmouth Police 11/28-12/5: 752 calls, 18 arrests

Yarmouth Police Blotter

During the past week--from Monday, November 28 to Monday, December 5, the members of the Yarmouth Police Department logged 752 calls. 

Of those calls, 123 were motor vehicle stops, 14 were motor vehicle crashes and seven were domestic violence attacks.

Of the eighteen arrests made during the week, two were arrested for rape, three were arrested for drunk driving and two were placed in protective custody.
