Orleans announces committee, commission and board vacancies

The Orleans Board of Selectmen has released a list of vacancies on committees, commissions and boards. Anyone interested in filling on of the open positions is asked to complete a citizens' interest form, available at the Orleans Town Hall or on the town's website here.

Positions are currently available on the following:

  • Agricultural Advisory Council
  • Architectural Review
  • Bike and Pedestrian Committee
  • Building Code of Appeals
  • Commission on Disabilities
  • Community Preservation Committee
  • Conservation Commission                 
  • Cultural Council
  • Fourth of July Committee
  • Marine & Fresh Water Quality Task Force
  • Nauset Regional School Committee
  • Renewable Energy/Wind Committee
  • Shellfish & Waterways Improvement Advisory
  • Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Zoning Bylaw Task Force

Committee information is available in the Annual Town Report, on the town website or by calling Margie Astles, Chairwoman of the Orleans Board of Selectmen at 508-240-3700 ext. 311. Applications for all committees, commissions and boards will be kept on file in the event of future vacancies.
