Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis to expand summer hours beginning May 24th

Mall will open one hour earlier on Sundays to accommodate peak season

HYANNIS – Cape Cod Mall announced today that it will expand its operating hours on Sundays during the region’s peak summer season.  Beginning Sunday, May 24th, the mall will begin opening at 11 AM on Sundays, one hour earlier than the current noontime opening.  The new hours will be effective through September 6, 2009.

“The new hours better reflect the increased foot traffic given the influx of tourists on summer weekends,” said Cape Cod Mall General Manager Leo Fein. “As one of the region’s largest community hubs, we want to accommodate the interests and needs of our shoppers and retailers.”

As of May 24th, the mall will be open from 10 AM – 9 PM Monday through Saturday, and 11 AM – 6 PM on Sundays.
