Beacon Hospice and Eastham Senior Center to host "Healing Hands" Support Group
Six week caregivers support group for family, friends and professional caregivers planned
The focus of this group is to provide mutual emotional support and education regarding the special challenges that caregivers experience. The group will provide information and tools to help those who care for others to practice self -care.
The group will be facilitated by Jackie Powers, MSW LCSW, Beacon Hospice Bereavement Coordinator.
Pre-registration is requested. To register, contact Jackie Powers at 508-778-1622 or jpowers@beaconhospice.com, or contact Cindy Dunham, Outreach Liaison at the Eastham Senior Center at 508-240-2327.
Healing Hands will meet from 10:30am–11:30am on Mondays at the Eastham Senior Center, beginning July 20, 2009.
