Cape Cod Healthcare announces relocation of Kids and Teens Assessment Center in Hyannis
Center to relocate to a new address, will remain in Hyannis
Cape Cod Healthcare has announced it will move the Kids and Teens Behavioral Health Assessment Center from its current site at 11 Potter Avenue to the Cape Cod Human Services building at 460 Main Street, Hyannis. The move, effective on July 27, allows CCHC Behavioral Health Services to streamline its programs to allow for more time for patients.
The Kids and Teens Assessment Center, opened in 2007, works with children and families who need some guidance finding services in the behavioral health system. It offers families a central point of contact, a point person to help coordinate referrals for specialized assessments, and a central place to receive information and support related to parenting a child with behavioral health issues.
The Assessment Center will be located in a new addition at the Cape Cod Human Services building, and will have more parking for patients. The telephone number and contact information for the Center remain the same. To arrange for services or for more information about the program, call Nancy Call, case manager, at 508-790-5903.
The Kids and Teens Behavioral Health Assessment Center is governed by an advisory board comprised of community members with various levels of expertise in the area of child and adolescent behavioral health. Its creation was funded through grants from the Bilezikian Family Foundation, Cape and Island United Way, Cape Cod Foundation, The Kelley Foundation and Cape Cod Healthcare’s Community Benefits and Eastern Bank.
