Dennis Women's Flag Football League gears up for the 2009 season
Registration begins September 6, season starts the following week

Registration day approaches for the 8th season of the Dennis Women's Flag Football
League. Registration is opened to all interested women over the age of 18. According to League Organizer Ashling Sullivan, "it is a great opportunity for women to get together, play a fun, energetic sport and meet new people."
The league has members from Hanover to Provincetown. This season, games will be played at 10 a.m. every Sunday from September 13 through December 6th. With the four teams, the Backside Girls, Chaos, Hookers and the Nantucket Sound Fish Weirs, two games are typically played simultaneously.
Registration will take place on Sunday, September 6, at 10 a.m. at Johnny Kelly Park in South Dennis. Information and the league schedule is available online here.
