Cape Cod Foundation to hold grant workshops at the end of August

Workshops scheduled in Brewster and Hyannis

The Cape Cod Foundation will hold two free technical assistance workshops to review guidelines for its Community Impact Grant Program. The workshops will be held 2-4 p.m. Thursday, August 20, at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster and 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, at the Cape Cod Synagogue in Hyannis.

In January 2009, the Foundation began the new Community Impact Grant Program (formerly the General Grants Program). The new program divides grants into two types, General Grants and Strategic Focus Grants. General Grants are requests under $5,000 and are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Strategic Focus Grants are requests of $5,000 or more and will be accepted once a year, with a deadline of October 1.
