Cape Cod League of Women Voters to host public forum on health care

President and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare, Inc. to speak

The League of Women Voters of the Cape Cod Area will present a public forum "Health Care: What Now?" on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Harwich Community Center, Oak Street, Harwich.

The forum will address the ongoing debate about health care reform that will soon be renewed in Washington, D.C. as Congress comes back from the summer recess.  Also discussed will be the possible effects of national legislation on the provision of health care on the Cape.

Our League is especially pleased that Dr. Richard Salluzzo, President and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare, Inc. will speak on these subjects and lead the discussion that follows.

Dr. Salluzzo will speak at 10:00 a.m. Prior to his talk coffee will be served at 9:30 a.m.

This is a public forum and all are urged to attend and ask questions about an issue that is so critical to us all.
