Wellfleet's WHAT accepting submissions for 2010 Cape Cod Filmmaker Takeover until February 6
WHAT’s Film Festival for Cape Cod Auteurs Returns
Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is accepting submissions for the 2010 Cape Cod Filmmaker Takeover, a juried festival of Cape Cod filmmaker’s films.
The festival - WHAT’s third – is scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2010. Awards will be given for best short, documentary, feature and student films. The Grand Prize Winner will be shown at the 2010 Provincetown International Film Festival, which is a co-sponsor of the event. Last year’s winner, Casey Clark’s, Kink, Inc., was a winner of PIFF’s Best Short award.
The submission deadline is February 6, 2010. Interested filmmakers who have shot films on Cape Cod, who live on Cape Cod or who are associated with the Cape in some way should send their films (in DVD format) to:

Each submission should include: a DVD of the film; the submission category (documentary, short, feature, student); a filmmaker biography (90 words or less); a film summary/blurb (30 words or less); one still from the film (jpg or gif burned on CD-rom) and filmmaker contact information (name, address, email, phone.) The final festival lineup will be announced by February 15, 2010.
