New caregiver's support group begins April 6th in Chatham

The Journey of the Long Good-bye dates announced

Are you experiencing feelings of grief, sadness, guilt, anger and/or loss while caring for a loved one? Anticipatory grief can often play a role while caring for someone who is still with us. The Journey of the Long Good-bye is a support group which offers the opportunity to address these feelings in a supportive environment with others who are in similar situations.

This journey need not be taken alone.

The Family Caregiver Support Program of Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands will sponsor this insightful eight-week journey beginning Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 9:30am to 11:30 a.m.

The group meets at the Chatham Community Center at 702 Main Street in Chatham.

There is a $15 fee to cover the cost of the book and manual.
