Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Women's Association seeks applicants for four scholarships
ABWA to fund four scholarships of $1,500 each in 2010
The Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is looking for scholarship applications. In 2010, the ABWA plans to fund four scholarships of $1,500 each.
Providing scholarships to support women is a major part of the mission of the American Business Women’s Association. Funds are raised during the monthly business meetings and through various activities during the year.
Women interested in obtaining a scholarship should be residents of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket and have reached at least their second semester in an accredited College, Vocational School or Technical School with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or more.
Applicants do not need to be majoring in business and they do not need to be affiliated with ABWA. Friends and family members of ABWA members are eligible.

Deadline for submission of applications and required documents is June 15, 2010. The Scholarship committee will review the submissions and awards are expected to be announced during the August 10th ABWA meeting at the Hyannis Radisson.
