August Killer Krabs for Kidds Fundraiser benefiting the Latham School in Brewster to be held in August
Bid on a cool crab at the August auction
What do horseshoe crabs, Prader-Willi Syndrome and 25 American artists have in common?
All will be blended together in an upcoming fundraiser being held on August 7, 2010 at the Return to Milltown Hot Rod 'N Kustom Rock and Roll Weekend.
View the Killer Krab slideshow on Greg Vaughan's website here.
Greg Vaughan, owner of Vaughan Art in Brewster, has been personally using the shells
of horseshoe crabs as a canvas for the last couple of years. These rare and pre-historic animals are found on Cape Cod and have proven to be an interesting medium.
Mr. Vaughan decided to put his talents to use and sent 25 of these shells to artists around the country. These artists have been busy putting their own creativity to the test and have created some fantastic pieces of art.
On August 7, 2010, the Killer Krabs will be auctioned off and all money raised will go the Latham School in Brewster to purchase arts and music supplies for the Latham students.

The Latham School is a residential special education program that serves children ages 8-22 who have a variety of cognitive and medical challenges. The Latham School is internationally recognized for working with children and adults diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that, among other things, is the most common cause of genetic obesity in children.
This is the fourth annual Return to Milltown Weekend, but the first Killer Krabs for Kidds
Fundraiser.
If interested in donating to the fundraiser or bidding on one of the art pieces contact Greg Vaughan at www.vaughanarts.com or 508 240-2346.
