Wings for Falmouth Families (WFFF) was pleased to accept generous donations of gift cards and money for families this holiday season.

Beth Colt, Innkeeper of The Woods Hole Inn held a Holiday Open House on December 7, 2010 and welcomed neighbors and local businesses.  In doing so she accepted donations to benefit Wings for Falmouth Families.  The donation of gift cards and cash was distributed to Falmouth families over the holidays.

Wings for Falmouth Families is a community-based, 501(c) (3) established in 2003 by Lisa and Eric Asendorf. The charity provides local families financial assistance when they are experiencing a medical crisis or tragic event.  While medical costs may be covered by insurance, spousal loss of work, childcare and housing expenses, to name a few, add up to an enormous burden.

Wings for Falmouth Families has assisted 28 families with financial contributions of $63,000 to date.  Wings for Falmouth Families is run solely by the Board of Directors, which is entirely volunteer, thereby incurring no salary expenses.
