Christa accused escape was not true
WCVB report that Mc Gowen escaped from hospital was in error
In a brief report this morning Boston's Channel 5 reported the the accused killer of Christa Worthington, Christopher C. McCowen of Hyannis, had escaped briefly from Cape Cod Hospital where he had been brought by police due to an illness.
A call from Sherrif Jim Cummings assured CapeCodToday that Mr. McGowen never left the County Jail this past weekend, let alone escape.
