Saturday, Oct. 1st
Old Fashioned Artisans Fair: 10am—2pm, Nickerson Studio, on the grounds of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts on Route 6A in Dennis. Demonstrations of rug hooking, scrimshaw and other crafts. Includes Yarmouth Minutemen Exhibition.
Autumn Auction: 9am—4pm, sponsored by the Dennis-Harwich Lions & Cape Playhouse. Auction and tag sale on the grounds of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts on Route 6A in Dennis. Features art, jewelry, books, children’s items, and furniture. Admission: Free.
24th Annual Wool Festival, 10am–4pm, Dennis Village Green, Route 6A Sponsored by Cape Cod Spinners Guild See fleece spun into yarn, plus many handcrafted items will be for sale.
1736 Josiah Dennis Manse Museum: 10am—2pm, 77 Nobscussett Road, Dennis Saltbox home of the first minister and man for whom the town was named- features artifacts of early Dennis life, Dennis Maritime Wing and much more. Sponsored by the Dennis Historical Society.
Narrated Tour of Historic Sea Captains Cemetery with Phyllis Horton: 2pm. Tour begins at the cemetery located at 210 Main St., South Dennis. Sponsored by the Dennis Historical Society.
