Sagamore Rotary Traffic Update
Cape Cod Today received the following traffic notice from the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce regarding the Sagamore Rotary project:
We have been informed by the Massachusetts Highway Department that starting the week of November 14, a portion of Scenic Highway (Route 6) from the Sagamore Rotary to the traffic lights at Herring Pond Road will become one lane in each direction.
Traffic will be relocated on the northerly side (away from the canal) allowing construction to commence on the southerly side (near the Canal).
This lane arrangement will continue through the spring of 2006.
Access to all driveways and Church Lane will be maintained.
For more traffic details about coming on and off Cape, visit Smart Traveler here. More project information is available on the Massachusett's Highway Department here. Tuesday's CCTimes story is here.
