Lights, Camera, Action...P-town!
If you are gay or lesbian, living in Provincetown or have a Provincetown story to tell, this may be the gig for you! Logo, the new gay and lesbian cable network (channel 281 for most Cape cable packages) has sent out a casting call for the latest "docu-drama" from the producers of MTV's "Laguna Beach" and A&E's latest reality-based offering, Rollergirls.
Logo, is owned by Viacom, the same company that owns MTV, VH1, TV Land, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon among others. This fresh, alternative network has been met with great delight by the GLBT community. Logo features a non-stop stream of GLBT content, from movies and dramas to musical specials, reality series and stand-up comedy.
In fact, many of the stand-up comedians appearing on Logo have headlined in Provincetown including Judy Gold, Suzanne Westenhoefer and political humorist, Kate Clinton, who owns a second home in
Provincetown.
According to executive producer, Jennifer Lane, the pilot episode of "P-town" will be shot in town during the month of March with cast assembly taking place in February. If "P-Town" takes off, it could prove to be quite a boon for the ecletic town at the tip of the Cape.
The following casting call may be found on the official Logo site:
Are you ready for the summer of your life? Provincetown is waiting for you!
The producers of MTV's "Laguna Beach" and LOGO, the new LGBT network, are casting a new gay-lesbian-reality-docu-drama series, "P-Town."

- Do you work at a restaurant in P-Town and wonder what it'd be like to be on a TV show?
- Do you own a business on Commercial Street?
- Do you know somebody who'd be perfect for this show?
- If so, we'd like to hear from you!
Please email us at ptown@gogoluckey.com. Tell us your story, and please be sure to include your:
