Introducing Photographer Deborah Potter

The Coast Guard rescue boat at the Chatham Pier heading out to sea

Photos by Deborah Potter

Our editor was coming back from his daily bike ride in Chatham yesterday when he saw a familiar face behind a 300mm Minolta lens at the Chatham Fish Pier on Shore Road.

It was cold and windy, but that didn't dissuade Ms. Potter from capturing the scenes on this page. Our editor had the good sense to ask her to email the photos to CapeCodToday.com for a possible photo essay.

That's the Stage Harbor Lighthouse above, and a handsome sloop with a wineglass transom on the left.

If you like Ms. Potter photos, please let us know and we'll forward your comments to her.

Or tell her yourself the next time you dine at the Hearth 'n Kettle in Skaket Corners on Route 6A at West Road in Orleans.

Deborah is the manager there.
