The Cape's Own IFAW presents the Whale Remix Project
Help Save the Whales!
You Could Win a 60GB Video iPod in the IFAW Whale Song Remix Contest
IFAW is sponsoring the contest on their site: www.stopwhaling.org. It's quite simple according to the site. Use real records of humpback whales to mix and record your own songs using the provided Flash interface. You can even download the sounds and do your own creating offline.
At one time hunted to near extinction, humpback whales are again the target of Japanese whalers. Do you part to help stop this cruel form of hunting. Not the song writer you hoped to be? Check out the site for information on whales and the secrets about whaling you are not supposed to know. The site also contains links to make donations and take action by writing a letter to the President.
